People come here for years and have one bad experience and rate it poorly. This bakery is a staple in the community, with a great hot table, fantastic sandwiches, incredible desserts, fresh bread and a good atmosphere.

My experience wasn’t that great ! First time visiting from Oakville the cashier was miserable ! The pastries especially the peach was hard and tasteless the veal sandwich one pc of veal very cheap everywhere u go it’s always 2 pcs and the sauce was watery tasteless no richness at all !!! The calamari were really bad over cooked and of course leads to rubbery taste !! Very very disappointed ! Especially WE DROVE FROM OAKVILLE !

I come to this bakery almost every day after dropping off my son at school, and I usually spend between $25–$50 each time. The food is decent, which is honestly the only reason I’ve kept coming back, even though the prices are extremely high. But the customer service is getting unbelievable.

No matter how much you spend, they still charge you for a plastic bag, and if you ever ask for a to-go container for leftovers, they act like you’re asking for something outrageous. The attitude is honestly shocking. The tall lady with gray hair, the one with light brown hair, and even the skinny girl with black long hair who makes the coffee are consistently rude. Today the coffee girl actually got upset because I asked for an extra cup even though the first one she gave me was practically unusable.

I don’t know if they’re the owners or not, but that doesn’t excuse treating customers this way. Their business runs because of the clients, and a little basic respect should not be too much to ask. I’m extremely disappointed and honestly reconsidering coming back.

HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!! I have been a regular customer here for over 20 years. The prices have increased tremendously and the serving staff & cashiers dont know the correct prices. The cashier is always rude. I bought 1 veal sandwich which consisted of only 1 piece of veal(not 2 like they used to) there was basically more bun than veal… for $20!!! I was never going to go back after that. Then today i went in for a SMALL RICE $5.99 and a LARGE size of meatballs which the server told me anything in the large tray was the large tray price ($9.99 or $12.99 i think) The cashier charged me $37.50 for 5 meatballs and said they were individually priced. One of them was obviosuly wrong but either way $7.50 for 1 meatball is insanity. I will never return to this place again.

We are regular customers at St. Philip’s Bakery and often enjoy cappuccinos and croissants as part of our routine. Unfortunately, our experience this morning was disappointing.

We ordered two espressos—one regular and one macchiato—along with two croissants. At the espresso machine, the barista mistakenly prepared two macchiatos instead. We accepted the mix-up without complaint and continued with our visit. Only after we pointed it out did the barista realize we had also been charged for only one espresso.

As we were leaving, this was brought to our attention, and we settled the remaining amount. However, what left us most disappointed was the cashier’s response. Rather than acknowledging the situation or offering any courtesy, she kept her head down and simply focused on collecting the extra $3.25. It felt like poor customer service, especially for loyal customers who enjoy the bakery regularly.

We hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience going forward.

I had a very unpleasant experience at Es Bekery. I bought a certain amount of bread and they didn't give me the correct amount. I was missing some and when I returned they didn't want to give them back to me and they charged me. They gave me a terrible attitude and apart from that I saw another disgusting thing that an employee did with the bread in the boxes. This is a place with an elegant appearance but the employees are disgusting. The worst experience I had. This place doesn't deserve to be in the area because polite people live here. But this took me beyond my limits.

I stopped by St. Phillips store today for the first time to shop for my birthday cake. I ended up picking up a pistachio vanilla cake base on the sales associate recommendation thay it wont be too sweet. In fact, it is SUPER SWEET and the vanilla sponge cake is so DRY. I expect more based on the brand but this quality is on par with Fortino/longos cake but more expensive. This will be my first and last time!

Extremely dissatisfied with this location. After asking a few simple questions about pricing and how the hot table works, the lady who was serving me was extremely rude. The food was very disappointing, cold, tough to chew. And when we bring our lunch up to the counter, a normal sized portion of arancini, 1 chicken cutlet, some salad and pasta rings up to 44 dollars. Absolutely ridiculous.
