Not bad at all. Food was quite good but service was a tad slow; though they were somewhat busy. I would return and recommend. Prices are fair as well as portion size.

Very disappointed, we made reservations knowing that it’s a small restaurant to ensure we get a seat. The worse part of it all we came out to celebrate my birthday and left hungry and disappointed. Everything we ordered was not available, and we picked 4 different items from crab cakes to oysters to steak all not available. They told us next time to call ahead but we did we made reservations so I’m not sure if they wanted us to call and order prior to coming or what but now a birthday ruined.

One of the only reasons that I drive to Vaughan! My boyfriend and I were there on a less busy night and we got personalized service straight from the chef. Made a normal date night feel extra special :)

My dad came from Edmonton and we brought family over, and boy did we have the best time here. We ordered seafood pasta, lobster thermidor and lobster bisque. Everything was on point. The seafood pasta, broiled lobster and the lobster bisque and is to do die for. Hands down, we will be back! Thank you so much staff and Chef Jay. Much love and respect.

Finally after a year or more, we went for lobster bisque soup! I’ve been dreaming about the soup BUT it was underwhelming! It was very bland! No flavour! We had to add a lot of salt and pepper and it still tasted like flour. Yeck!! We were so disappointed!! Had the breaded calamari and it was so so. Shame!!! The food at Lobster Trap used to be amazing but it really missed the mark today!!

Had the fried calamari and it was excellent, on par with similar offerings from more pretentious seafood restaurants. Server provided excellent service. Restaurant was impeccably tidy and welcoming.

Went dinner last night here with my husband and our server Andrew was top notch. Ambience and food was also great. Washroom were clean which is always a plus!We had the escargots, lobster bisque, and broiled lobsters. Everything was perfect.Prices were a little high but expected due to economy and covid etc.Would definitely go back again.Parking: Plenty of free parking

I didn't see my favorite, breaded Scampis on the menu. Please don't tell me that the Lobster Trap no longer offers them. I have not yet visited the new location in Vaughan, but I used to live in the area of the original 'Trap' on Avenue Rd. & go there to get my 'seafood fix' on a regular basis, but I moved out of that area before it closed for good,
If you love seafood this is the place to go! Food was delicious.

We had an amazing experience here. Andrew was our very attentive server. He took the time to know our names. The food is actually better than the original lobster trap. But still the old school garlic bread and the broiled lobster with the breadcrumbs. Lobster and oysters were very fresh. This location is an upgrade from the old place, free parking, updated design and very clean!

My friends and I have been wanting to go here since the pandemic. Well..... they took me for my birthday 2weeks ago.It was worth the wait!!! Our server Jennifer was so patience with us and answered all our questions. A big thank you goes to Chef Jay for the the delicious and amazing food. They made me truly feel special on my birthday.
