“Hidden gem worth visiting”
If you haven’t tried Uptown BBQ-Churrasqueira yet, you’re missing out. The flavours are authentic, the meat is tender, and everything tastes homemade. You can tell they put care into every dish. It’s a cozy spot with top-notch food — I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.

I went to this restaurant with my partner. We were on our way to a wedding and decided we wanted to try some Portuguese chicken. As soon as we arrived, the staff greeted us immediately and asked what we wanted to order.

He was super friendly and accommodating to what we wanted (a whole chicken half spicy half mild)

He generously placed it in two containers for us at our request. We sat in the restaurant and ate. While eating another staff provided us additional napkins and checked that the food was to our likings.

We will definitely be returning the food was amazing!!

the first time i ordered from them food was great perfectly cooked, today i received raw chicken i could barely cut into the top was cooked n some parts burned but the meat was still pink and hard inside, absolutely disgusting i threw it out. from the reviews this seems to be a common issue please cook your food to the safe temperature. idk if i can eat here again tbh

Amazing quality food. Great service with amazing attitude. Well priced and enough quantity. Won’t regret. U can eat in or take out.

The chicken was great, very wet and very, very flavourful that a good selection of salads and fish items once in a while however, you must try the chicheron.

There are a few table, tables and chairs with mostly a ticket spot.

I absolutely love this place!
We got the 1/2 chicken white with rice and potatoes, and a salad! I highly recommend getting the red wine vinaigrette dressing cause it’s made IN HOUSE! it was really good! I felt like I was eating at someone’s gramma’s house, in fact there was a sweet older lady there who was cooking in back.
Also there was the sweetest lady that served us
I noticed that the sauce that came on the chicken had something I was allergic to in it, she was really understanding about it and without me even asking she offered to remake the entire meal without the sauce so I could eat with my husband! Even though she didn’t have to do that for me! Such nice people! We are definitely coming back!

Ordered chickens and 3 large sides. The quality was great staff in the restaurant was great. And the food was tasty all my colleagues loved it…

Favorites are the bbq chicken and grilled ribs. House made, family owned. Great spot for a quick reliable meal.

Simply the best! Friendly staff, friendly service, and most of all the best chicken I’ve had. You can tell this food is of the best quality. Would recommend to anyone and everyone in Vaughan!

It’s unfortunate that I had to change my review today. Over the years I been coming here and the food was great. The portions used to be good, the service but it went downhill. When I noticed this I stopped coming for a while, but now that I decided to give them one last chance it was definitely the last. The rice was still a bit hard, and the chicken.. was the smallest quarter leg I’ve ever seen. They don’t even put enough sauce like they used to. And top it off, they raised the prices. It’s sad once such a place was amazing. Now.. I’m never going back.

Love their food! Go here. Never go to Costa Verde as it is complete trash and so is the owner
