We tried Uptown BBQ-Churrasqueira for the first time while deciding where to order Portuguese chicken for our daughter’s 3rd birthday — and it completely exceeded our expectations. We ordered a chicken dinner with rice and potatoes as a “test run,” and the food was so good that we immediately chose them for the event.

On the day of the party, everyone kept talking about how delicious the food was and asked where it came from. The biggest compliment I can give is that our toddler, who can be a picky eater, finished her plate and even asked for more!

The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is consistently excellent, and the portions are great. If you haven’t tried this place yet, I hope you read this and give them a visit. Highly recommend!

Uptown BBQ-Churrasqueira in Woodbridge is an absolute gem! The chicken is perfectly grilled, the sides are delicious, and the portions are generous. But what truly sets this place apart is the owners—they are incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. Every time I walk in, they greet me with genuine smiles and make me feel like family. It’s the kind of spot that keeps you coming back for both the amazing food and the heartfelt hospitality. 5 stars all the way! Highly recommend!

Highest rated portugese chicken place in the area and now I know why. The chicken is fresh and straight off the grill hot and moist. Make sure you ask for one of the orange sauces, in the squeezable bottles-there are three, I had the original, its amazing! The employees are genuinely good natured and put the customer first. Hats off, wish more places were like this!

“Hidden gem worth visiting”
If you haven’t tried Uptown BBQ-Churrasqueira yet, you’re missing out. The flavours are authentic, the meat is tender, and everything tastes homemade. You can tell they put care into every dish. It’s a cozy spot with top-notch food — I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.

I went to this restaurant with my partner. We were on our way to a wedding and decided we wanted to try some Portuguese chicken. As soon as we arrived, the staff greeted us immediately and asked what we wanted to order.

He was super friendly and accommodating to what we wanted (a whole chicken half spicy half mild)

He generously placed it in two containers for us at our request. We sat in the restaurant and ate. While eating another staff provided us additional napkins and checked that the food was to our likings.

We will definitely be returning the food was amazing!!

the first time i ordered from them food was great perfectly cooked, today i received raw chicken i could barely cut into the top was cooked n some parts burned but the meat was still pink and hard inside, absolutely disgusting i threw it out. from the reviews this seems to be a common issue please cook your food to the safe temperature. idk if i can eat here again tbh

Amazing quality food. Great service with amazing attitude. Well priced and enough quantity. Won’t regret. U can eat in or take out.
