We went for my son’s birthday. Food and service was fantastic. All 8 of us enjoyed everything about our dinner. Thank you Francesco and to our wonderful server Julia.

Server was nice, food was ok at best, the chicken for the parmigianna was pressed and formed, not a real chicken breast which is shameful for an Italian restaurant. Then I waited 10 minutes for a fork and then 25 minutes for our server to come and check to see if we wanted dessert to which we were completely disenchanted and happy to leave.

Absolutely incredible experience at Via Mercanti in Woodbridge! The food was outstanding from start to finish. The pizza was easily some of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked with an authentic, wood-fired flavour. The mushroom pasta was absolutely amazing: rich, creamy, and packed with flavour.

A special thank you to our waitress, Julia, who made the experience even better. She was warm, attentive, friendly, and provided exceptional service throughout our meal. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests.

If you’re looking for authentic Italian food, fantastic service, and an overall great dining experience, Via Mercanti is a must-visit. We can’t wait to come back!

Via Mercanti Woodbridge is our go-to restaurant because we know we’ll always have amazing food. From when we walk in the entire staff makes us feel like family. Even though it was incredibly busy, Palma took the time to chat with us and went above and beyond to make sure everything we ordered was to our liking. We have become regular customers because not only is the food always great but the people who work there take pride in what they do.

Had dinner Saturday night with my wife. Food was very good and service was excellent. Sam was are waiter amazing. so are the rest of the staff. Francesco the owner is always there helping out. Bottom line Great food and great service

Just visited Via Mercanti for dinner tonight - pizza, mozzarella di buffala, and ice cream. Always delicious. Our server, Giulia was great! This restaurant is a staple for my family. Food and service never disappoint.
