Went to Zafferano recently on Valentines Day and then for a larger family lunch over the last couple of weeks. The food is amazing, the service is fantastic, and the chef made accommodations for a family member with a special request. All the staff is great, but the one person who made both these experiences such wonderful experiences was Giulia! She was our server on both occasions. She is pleasant, friendly, helpful, attentive, willing to help out, and always with a smile on her face. It was because of her that we booked that second occasion. She went to speak with the chef if they were able to accommodate our family member with a special request. She coordinated that for us, as did Bobby. Giulia, and the whole team at Zafferano deliver great food, amazing service, and an all around incredible experience. Thank you!

It was a private party. Group of 60 people. The food was delicious. Appetizers amazing. The food was warm, fresh, beautiful presentation & tasteful. Great service, staff were friendly and nice. Very attentive to guests requests. Music playing was good.

We went tonight with a party of 4 people and everything was fantastic! We were celebrating a birthday and both the food and the atmosphere were amazing. Our waitress brought a breath of fresh Italian air right to us she was so kind and friendly. She recommended the meat special of the evening and the desserts, which we really enjoyed. She even thoughtfully added a little candle for my birthday, which was such a sweet touch. It was wonderful to meet someone young who speaks Italian so well and makes you feel like you’re really in Italy. We will definitely be coming back!

We dined here as a party of 12 and overall the experience left a bad impression because of how the billing was handled. We fully understand and accept the 18% automatic gratuity for large groups — that’s standard and fair. However, we noticed the gratuity was calculated after tax, not on the pre-tax subtotal. Gratuity is meant to be based on the food and service, not on government tax, and this felt misleading.
On top of that, we were charged $7.95 per bottle for “flat water”, but the bottles were clearly being refilled in-house with filtered tap water. Charging premium bottled-water prices for house-filtered water without making that clear feels like a cash grab.
Food was decent and so was the service. Although our sever was so serious and cold.
I am not sure if I would ever go back to this restaurant thought!!
