Very happy with our order! It was our first time trying Banana Leaf. Read the reviews and decided to give it a try. So glad we did!
We had the chicken Pad Thai and the Mixed Vegetables with Chicken. Like other reviews have said, the serving sizes do feel smaller than other restaurants’ sizes, but since we really enjoyed the food, we didn’t really mind at all! I really liked that the ingredients were good quality and fresh, and the dishes didn’t have a “commercialized” flavour to it, but was very fresh and home-made, which is how we like it! As if my own Asian mama had made it for us lol! On top of that, the lady on the phone was very friendly and helpful. Originally we had ordered the mixed vegetables with chicken and cashew nuts. But then since we had mentioned we have a peanut allergy, she called us back to let us know the cashews were stored next to the peanuts, after which we decided to forgo the cashews and just get the vegetables and chicken. Great customer service! Will definitely be ordering from here again! Thank you Banana Leaf!

The hours of this establishment make it a low star.Food has been good usually and service is friendly.However 80% of the time we want to eat here, it's closed. I respect your need to take days off but, this establishment is closed more often than it's open.For equally good food for a short drive check out SaiThai Kitchen, Viet Thai, or MyThai all in Brantford. Many in waterloo or London.The hours of this establishment make the flavor of food (approx 50/50 good or bad) irrelevant because you can never actually eat it....

We ordered pineapple fried rice, fried glass noodles with beef and fresh mango rolls. The rice and noodles were good but no wow factor. The mango rolls with chicken didn't really have any flavour and would have been better with a peanut sauce instead. The portions are on the small side. We would probably try it again if and when they have dine in.
