We normally order delivery but we ordered a pick up as we were in town anyways so decided we would take it home. The stench of dust and mildew permeated the air in the place but we ignored that as anytime we have ordered for delivery it was very good. This time though i guess because i was a walk in customer I was treated like a scumbag and they gave us half the amount of chicken balls we normally get not to mention they were shrivelled and seemed to be microwaved. Even though I ordered 3 extra egg rolls my girlfriend and I finished the dinner for 3 all in one night and were left completely unsatisfied for $59.00. not cool, I called and complained asked for more chicken balls to be sent to us and she wouldn't help me so we will never be ordering again in the future. She also forgot my girlfriend's chop sticks we clearly asked for so terrible service all around

When I first entered Fu Lok restaurant in Woodstock ON I was taken back by the lack of cleanliness and organization behind the front counter. Although the staff was quite friendly, I found the establishment to be very dark with a strong sent of sewage that immediately compelled me to second guess my decision to follow through with my online order. I am flabbergasted as to why there are positive reviews regarding the food quality at this establishment, I need to strongly disagree with all of them. I have never been more disappointed and turned off by the greasy, burnt dirty pan smell and taste of several dishes I had sampled. I could not bring myself to finish what was on my plate. The smell permeated my clothing and penetrated almost every room in my home. I do not recommend this restaurant at all to anyone, unless you don’t mind spending $90.00 for dumpster grade food. -10 stars

Ordered the Szechwan chicken combo and Szechwan beef combo from this restaurant. While the combos were great in terms of quantity, I was disappointed as the food turned out to be too sweet instead of the anticipated spiciness. Additionally, though the spring rolls and chicken balls were plentiful, the taste of the rice and gravy fell short. I'll give it another try, hoping for a better balance of flavors next time.

I honestly do NOT understand the low ratings for Fu Lok. My family and I for years have been coming here and they are hands down the best Chinese in Woodstock. How China wok has a higher rating than Fu lok is absolutely beyond me. Take the negative reviews lightly, those people have no idea what good real Chinese food tastes like. If you're looking for chicken nuggets, go to McDonalds, or expand your horizons and mature your taste buds. Hesitate no more and order from Fu Lok, support them as much as you can! They are one of the best restaurants in this city period and if they were ever to close up I would be devastated. I've tried them all, and nothing comes close to these guys. Keep it up Fu Lok, us authentic food lovers can't get enough of your cooking!
