Gross, awful 😖 I have no idea how this Chinese restaurant keeps any business at all. Take away food was horrible when ordered almost 3 years ago and never bothered again. Forgot to post this review then but posting it now because it was the worst Chinese take away ever in my life. Slso when I walked into the restaurant to pick up my take away, there was a bizarre smell, ugh
Very poor customer service. I’ve ordered from here before and had no issues with accommodating my request, so this experience was especially disappointing. The woman taking my order was rude, dismissive, and raised her voice when there was a language barrier. When I mentioned my food allergies and asked about a substitution (which had been done before), she told me I shouldn’t order from the restaurant, shooed me away, and walked off. If something couldn’t be accommodated, that’s understandable, but her attitude and behavior were completely unacceptable.

Taste of China is our go-to chinese restaurant on a monthly basis. after last night, we will not be going back. we always get the ribs because its one of our favs. we were given sweet and sour pork instead of the spareribs. when I called the restaurant to ask if we could get the ribs, the woman on the phone was hostile immediately and gaslighting us saying “the sweet and sour spareribs are the really small pieces but the bbq and honey garlic spareribs are the big ones” (how does this make sense?). after saying we always get the same thing everytime she kept saying NO!! (like yes.. we really do). i gave up and hung up as there was clearly nothing they would do on their end to own up to it. the sweet and sour pork was genuinely inedible (super grisly unedible pieces). we were extremely disappointed as we always go here and stand up for the place whenever friends or family say they had bad service or the food wasn’t good - we finally unfortunately get where the bad rep is coming from. the pic of the “spareribs” are attached.

I actually like this place. I always order here. Love the coconut chicken. I drive from burford because I didn't like anything in Paris.

Don’t go here. I gave cash and the older lady (who couldn’t speak English) took my money put it in the cash drawer and walked away. She kept the change ($7.00) I guess as her tip. She was the rudest person and the dinner tasted like it was reheated from the day before. Garbage restaurant
Trash restaurant. No eat-in, no washroom, rude service. Don’t waste your time or money here

I’ve never felt compelled to write a business review before, but this experience was so poor that I couldn’t let it go unmentioned. From the moment I walked in, the woman at reception was cold and unwelcoming, not a hint of hospitality. She offered zero guidance on the menu, barely acknowledged us, and acted like serving customers was a burden.
To make matters worse, once the food finally arrived, she abruptly told us we weren’t allowed to eat inside. No sign, no prior notice, just a dismissive “you can’t eat here,” followed by an instruction that if we did stay, we had to clean up the table ourselves and take our trash out with us. Excuse me?
The entire experience felt hostile and uncomfortable. I left not just disappointed, but genuinely baffled by the attitude and complete lack of customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. 0/10.

You had my business, you lost my business!
I ordered the house special rice. Barely any of the meats that were supposed to be in it. If you’re going to charge almost 13.00 dollars as opposed to 9.00 for a one meat fried rice there should be a decent amount of meat in it. Rice is not very expensive on its own. The pad Thai has a soapy aftertaste. The Szechuan beef was good. The only thing that was good. I will be ordering from elsewhere in the future. Eating out is expensive enough. You should have some quality in what is sold.
No Dine in.
Great food good prices. Withbso many Chinese places going down hill in woodstock this is the best place to eat. Parking is. Abit tricky but it's worth it pick up take it hoke that simple
