Seems like as the years go by quality of service is less and less. You can have 6 employees pass you while waiting for service by the baked goods with no acknowledgment or redirection if needed. As a life long Portuguese Torontonian this pushes me and like minded customers to other establishments. Caldense should have their employees focus on quality of the customer experience, not just pushing product out. Ignoring customers while waiting for service has gone on for far too long (this isn’t the first time this has happened) and unfortunately I won’t be visiting this location any longer.

The coffee and baked goods were lovely. There is quite a lot of seating available. My friend and I had a wonderful chat and watched the people come and go. There was a line up to get to the counter service that was very friendly. You just have to be a regular to understand what is expected. I guessed.
