Been to this location twice and it’s a nice spot. The food is pretty good, and I especially enjoy the festivals side. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The place is hidden in a plaza, so I had no idea it existed until a friend mentioned it to me. Definitely a hidden gem. Would come back again.

Had heard good things and a friend and I tried for ourselves. I ordered curried goat. Not available. Wanted to order a mojito. Website offers this drink. I was told not available. My friend ordered King fish. The fish was not good and was removed from our bill. I ordered honey garlic chicken wings and potato wedges. Wings were on. Potato wedges had a crispy texture. Not much flavor.

We visited Central Bar and Restaurant recently and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the service inside was excellent — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing, and the bartender really made us feel looked after.
Originally, we only planned to have a few drinks, enjoy a good meal, and then head home. Unfortunately, our evening took a turn at the very beginning. The security at the front was unnecessarily rude to my friend, making an assumption that she was highly intoxicated and even whispering to her, “Don’t make me take you out.” This was completely uncalled for, as she wasn’t being loud, wild, or disruptive in any way — we were literally just paying the cover and being searched to go inside. It felt very targeted as we were probably the most sober people there.
To be honest, that interaction really killed the mood for the night. My friend didn’t feel comfortable or welcome after that, so we decided to just pick up our food and leave instead of staying for drinks as planned.
While I can’t fault the food or the service inside, the treatment at the door really soured what could have been a great night out.

Sitting on my toilet as I write this because my belly is messed up. Order jerk pork it was too hot had to save it to cook down later only got macaroni salad with my $20 meal and im on the toilet.
Thursday night is a whole vibe. Amazing time. Great music. Good crowd

I went to celebrate my friends birthday this is my second time here I wanted to treat here to a bottle so I ask the server how much for a bottle of crown royal since there don’t have a menu for bottle service which is rather strange the fact they sell bottles she told me $250 I said that’s a lot for crown royal it’s 35 dollars at LCBOi was directed to the owner who was sitting there and I told him we’re here for a birthday and I was to get a bottle so what can he do because there’s expensive for that bottle his worts was “do you think I pick them up on the street”how disrespectful for an owner and we ended up having 4 bottles on the table and a huge platter of finger foods we spent over $1000 at the table this is the main reason BLACK business never Survive because of the owners nasty people I’d never go back and neither will my friends.the security are rude and disgusting too.
