One of my family members said this is the best place for Portuguese food in Toronto. We were hungry so we thought we would give it a try. We phoned through our order and went and collected it and once it was home we tucked in. The food was EXCELLENT! There was plenty to go round and for us all. Highly Recommended!

So dissatisfied with the catering delivery order. Had my delivery time for 1 pm and they showed up at 11 am. Okay fine not such a big deal. I was told on the phone i wouldnt be charged delivery because the place was so close, i get handed the receipt and 10$ delivery fee. Okay fine. But the chicken looked like a dog got to it first. The pieces were cut with a chainsaw i swear. All you see is carcass and bones everywhere. Tiny pieces of chicken. I ordered extra hot sauce on the phone they gave me one small cup of hot sauce for 5 chickens and XL potatoes. $140 for 1/5 rated catering experience. I wish i had a pic of the tray before people started serving but the attached pic was literally 70% of what the tray looked like.

I was served one of the best food I ever eat. (Octopus) the other two couples and the kids (bitoque) all loved their food also. We will be back for sure

What a find. Fond this place on Google. It doesn't look like much on the outside. We were going at 5:30pm for a really early dinner so we didn't make a reservation. Wrong! It was packed. We finally got a seat and ordered. Wow! This place is a find. Had grilled calimari, whole fish and 1/2 chicken. My mouthg is watering just thinking about it. It was SO GOOD! The service was very good considering it was so busy. Next time we make a reso for sure. Casual dining but excellent.

Aburigato! I love this place!! It's a Portuguese to go and dine in place. They are super kind and the food/menu (main dish) are changing often. It will give you an amazing chance to experience the Portuguese food!I highly recommend this place!

Great chicken , great beef a casa too. The rice is spot on and the potatoes can use a bit more seasoning.
Bone dry chicken day old rice and potatoes. We left it for the trash. They should be embarrassed to serve this garbage in Toronto. This place should be shut down.

Always great Portuguese food, very attentive service. The location allows plenty of parking available anytime we come. This restaurant is a nice place to come alone, with friends or clients, same great for a family. Very rich variety of wine. Sorry, always I'm forgetting to take pictures when food served

They should remove the word "Churrasqueira" from their name. They cook their chickens on a butterflied on an electric heating element! It's not even a gas grill or the better charcoal grilled. This is an embarrassment compared to real churrasco back in Portugal. I'll never eat this crap again. I asked for the chicken well done with crispy skin and it came out looking almost boiled. Gross.

My first experience with Rui's BBQ and will definitely NOT order again.I ordered a "half piglet - cut" and paid for delivery as well ($90).When the delivery arrived, it felt a little light, but I trusted that they had measured it before delivery.When I opened it, it looked more like a quarter or third rather than a full half of a piglet, so I took a picture of what had been delivered.After weighing what I got delivered, all together it was less than 2kg of roast.I sent them a photo of the delivery, they said "that IS whole half piglet, that IS what you are supposed to get".A day later they asked me to send them a photo of the delivery on the scale which I could not take because I had already weighed it, prepared to contact them about it, and ate since it was all we ordered to eat. I am not going to just throw it away or let it sit while Rui's BBQ decides to get back to me.They say it is not their mistake but, where did the 2kg of my order go?I trusted them and gave them $90 in advance to deliver 3.5-4kg of roast.I only got 2kg, and they do not trust me.This was a horrible experience and I would not recommend these guys.
