Booked a group of 10 for a Friday night a week before, very accommodating in helping with a time change. Sat upstairs and had very attentive staff. The portions were really good for the price. Orecchiette puttanesca was really well done - properly cooked and great flavour. Also had a pesto pasta for the kids, and their chicken and sausage dish. Finished with a solid tiramisu and espresso. Everyone in the group enjoyed their meal. I would definitely be back again.
Friendly and super efficient service! Fun vibe upstairs! Big menu! Delicious food and drinks! One of our favorites!
I have eaten here many times. The food is very good. The service is excellent and staff is friendly. If you are going to a Broadway show the location is perfect. I will definitely go there again.
Came here for a family dinner after a Broadway show. The food was so delicious, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Definitely going to add Daniela's as a new spot to bring friends!
So wonderful! Such a neighborhood gem. We came here for my daughter's 14th birthday and she loved it. Food is delicious and well priced. Service was so great! I've been here a few times and it never disappoints. Highly recommend.
Excellent service and food came so quickly! Big portions as well. Its a casual place, nothing fancy. Would return
This is probably our 10th time to daniela‘s Nova Scotia Canada, and every time we come we make it a point to have a meal here. Food is amazing, the servers fabulous, cocktails and wine list great! We always recommend!
Excellent linguini with clam sauce. At least 2 dozen tender little neck clams! Just the right amount of garlic. Service was professional and attentive, and just fast enough so we had time to make it to our Broadway show. Reasonably priced.
I have been dining at Daniela's for many years and it never disappoints. Outstanding Italian food as well as a varied menu. Weekend brunch options that are a great choice for a pre-theater matinee. Portions are genrous, prices are reasonable for Manhattan and the staff is extremely attentive. Be sure to make a reservation on Wednesdays and weekends as it an sometimes be crowded.
Upon arrival we were welcomed by the staff, they had our table ready exactly where we requested. Our server was attentive and helpful. There were great selections, specials and all of the food we ordered was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and had plenty of time to get to our show on Broadway. I highly recommend further a reasonably priced and delicious meal.

We always enjoy the food at Daniela's and this night was no different. The food was very good, the service impeccable, and the prices are moderate. Always a great place to go before the theater.
The service was top-notch and the food delicious. We each had an appetizer, entree and split a dessert with soft drinks, cappuccino and tea. Cost was approximately $58 each + tip. I had the pasta fagioli for an appetizer and it was a lot of beans, some pasta in a pink cream broth. It was very tasty, although I thought it was a little heavy on the cannellini beans with no vegetables or meat. My friend had a Caesar salad and it was very good and an ample portion. My friend ordered the linguini and clam for dinner and there was an abundance of clams in shells and a lot of pasta. I had a favorite of mine, chicken parm which came with a side of spaghetti. It did not disappoint. We shared a slice of NY cheesecake and I thought the slice was on the small side, but it didn't matter because we had such a full meal that we didn't even eat the whole slice of cheesecake. We were going to the theater so it was a perfect spot to have a yummy meal. We had an early reservation and it was quiet so we were able to catch up as we hadn't seen each other in a while. About an hour in, a large party came in and sat near us and it got noisy. There is ample seating both upstairs and downstairs. Highly recommend and will be going back again and again!
The service was very good and waiters were appropriately attentive. The food was fair. But not very good for a red sauce restaurant. The garlic bread was not tasty, the eggplant parm was ordinary and the pasta with alfredo sauce was accetable but ordinary. It was not expensive for the theater district. We sat on the entrance level but there was an upstairs. There was bathroom on the entrance floor that was adequate.
This was my second time at Daniela's. We were comfortably seated upstairs, and promptly greeted by our server. It took us a few minutes to decide what to eat as the menu offered so many delicious options. We didn't have to wait long to be served, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our selections. The restaurant is very convenient to many Broadway shows, and an easy walk from Penn Station.
Quick easy decent place to grab some Italian in Times Square. Not the greatest fare but if you find yourself tired, hungry and desperate in Times Square then this place will suffice. Service was great. Don't order the calamari ☺️
