“I happened to visit Jenny's bar when I was in the area to go to a boutique, and wanted to grab some drinks with my girlfriends afterwards. As soon as we walked in, Jenny welcomed us with a smile. Drink prices were super reasonable, atmosphere was unpretentious, and the bar had a cozy atmosphere where most of the patrons are regulars there. Jenny was so friendly, she let us know there was karaoke available and encouraged us to sing but we're too shy 😂

“They got 2 pool tables and a cool layout with outdoor area and a yard. Interior is all you need from a bar, red lights, lots of space, paintball machine, some silly things here n there.
It was pretty loud inside but you could escape it if you move around the area.
Would recommend 100%!“
“The Horseshoe Tavern is maybe the best local bar in Toronto. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent location. A perfect place for a drink or to catch a show most nights. They bring in international acts and also out a real spotlight on local indie artists (like me!). I love this bar!“

“My friend and I were on the road for work. After a long day, we headed back to our hotel, Ode, which is right next door to Hank's. We sidled up to the bar and took a seat. This may not be the perfect bar, but it's damn close. The drinks were cold and delicious, the conversation was great, and the bartender was helpful and kind. If you find yourself in Little Portugal, head to Hank's, you won't be disappointed. Buyer beware, CASH ONLY!“

“Visiting from Denver, CO. Found this place by chance and it is excellent. Chris is friendly and more importantly knowledgeable about the local beers he serves. We're only in town for a few days but we will stop in every night that were in Toronto.“

“This is a place that you can call your own. The atmosphere on any given day is second to none, oh my, when the Toronto teams are on the tv's the patrons are so energetic, cheering clapping and having fun. Food is delicious and priced very reasonable. The staff from Johnny to Ellena, Rheal and Jasmin are the best and they look after each customer as if they are serving themselves, if you haven't been to SSJ you are missing out“

“Joseis sport bar is a family bar and long time locals .i enjoy my time there every time.very caring and attentive service is great and she is so honest . I thought i didn’t pay and she tell me that i already have . I was having a bad day .she was supportive and very comforting she even give me a free snacks. I know all the regulars that they became like family I really appreciate the support .is not a loud place you can talk and relax.“
“Excellent bar. Wide variety of drinks at very affordable price. Linda and Kudo are so good with customers and they serve very well. They are a Good hardworking bunch. I will definitely come again if I ever crave for a beer or shots. There is enough space for party, just call ahead and it has good music. They have a juke box kind of deal where you can select music you like. Just Amazing, and I know you’ll say the same.Just an insider tip: free food just after 8 ? : homemade Chinese food (till its last ).“

“Stopped by Afro Continental Ghanaian Restaurant for dinner with a friend and really enjoyed the food. I had the waakye and goat suya; both were delicious and well-seasoned. The prices were quite affordable and definitely competitive compared to other similar spots in the area.
My friend got the jollof rice with meat and she enjoyed her dish as well.
As for the service…it’s about what you’d expect from a typical African restaurant. Nothing extraordinary, but it got the job done. At the end of the day, the food made it worth it. We’d definitely come back but only for takeout.“
