My boyfriend and I usually love the food here, but we recently tried the cakes for the first time, and we were pretty disappointed. We ordered more than one flavor, but sadly, they all tasted the same: overwhelmingly sweet, without any real flavor or complexity. The sweets, cakes, are authentic and well done. There are some grocery items, but mostly, this is a sweet shop and cafe. The Portuguese specials, Tegelado and pastais de nata are very good. Too bad the service was very slow, with an attitude. Not good. The place was too hot, so we asked to open a window: no. The view is ugly parking lot and main street.
