Took my family for breakfast this morning and the food was amazing and so was the service. I met the owner Steve who is a terrific guy and a smart business owner. It shows he’s amazing as he’s been there for 30+ years. Go visit Egglington grill and say hi to Steve!!.

This place definitely met my eggspectations!Old school diner/greasy spoon is becoming more difficult to find. This quirky place features a beautiful mural in the dining area painted in 1985 - and prices to match! What I had for less than $8, there are plenty of bougie hipster hangouts that might charge $20. The classic 3 eggs/toast/ fries and 4 extra-long super crispy ironed bacon perfection. I opted for the Colombian coffee, which was delicious. They also offer Tim Hortons or McDonald’s brand. My friend had a mushroom and Swiss omelet with fries and toast. Standard menu options. Great value.The service was very friendly and fast.The owner came by to say hi and told us how he’s been there 38 years. Former variety and video store. There is a massive fridge across the back with every beverage imaginable. Several comfy red booths and some tables have chairs. Seats about 30. Some snacks and stuff at front.You go up to pay when done. Unpretentious atmosphere. A gem that will continue to be enjoyed!Parking: Park for free on side streetSome green P out front and a lot nearbyWheelchair accessibility: Seems accessible- don’t recall a step through door. Could navigate to back/dining no problem
