UPDATE JUNE 2025: Finally, I got back to Weston and was happy to enjoy lunch in this cafe: Mexicana quesadillas. YUM! I love the decor and atmosphere here, like being on vacation down south. So fun! Really nice staff members. I'll return, of course. Big recommendation from me.

PREVIOUSLY IN 2025: For the first time today, since I don't live in the Weston area, I dropped into this amazing cafe on Weston Road to buy a quick coffee and a snack. WOW! Right from the moment that I entered this gem of a cafe, I was transported back in time to when I had vacationed in Mexico, Cartagena Colombia, the D.R., Cuba, etc. The authentic-looking atmosphere was like my instantly being on vacation again without the hassle of going through busy airports.

Delicious coffee in a china cup. The service was impeccable. There were so many choices of Latin-style foods that are made right on the premises. I regretted that I had eaten breakfast before going out on my errands this morning, otherwise I would have ordered quesadillas or any of the other items on the menu. Instead, to go along with my great coffee, I enjoyed every morsel of a chicken empanada. YUM! I ate and drank my coffee slowly to savour it and to prolong my visit here in this cozy cafe.

A nice lady at another table started talking with me. This would be a really nice place to go for a coffee and treats every day if I happened to live in Weston. There's a room at the back of the cafe for business meetings or birthday parties or whatever. That's one business meeting that I wouldn't mind attending!

The prices were good, possibly on the low side for what the quality they offer. The server was fantastic, friendly and helpful. I absolutely loved every moment, all of my coffee and empanada, while in this cafe. It was a happy experience for me being on a really mini Latin-flavoured vacation here today.

Big recommendation from me! I will definitely make a point of going back soon and am already thinking about what I will order.

If you have the chance to pass by please do!!! The place itself is very nice, excellent service and the food was something else. we had 2 different kind of grilled sandwiches and both were amazing. The croissant and alfajor were very fresh, and the coffee was delicious. Loved this place very much 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

The Latin American style Café opened in Weston during 2022, having been in different locations in Toronto. It offers fresh food and drinks and is popular with locals and opens for private parties too.

“Yerba Mate” is more than just a naturally stimulating hot and tasty herbal drink, it’s an Argentinian tradition to pass around a gourd of it out on patios and in backyards. El Almacen brings that tradition to Toronto, along with lovely Argentinian food (the breakfast empanada was great their chorizo is excellent) plus the classic espressos, coffees and baked goods. Excellent place to crack through some world building on a new screenplay with an old friend ❤️

I was shocked by the interior, the service, and the drinks. Everything was very well made and presented. Other than some racists(customers) it was a perfect experience
