I was so excited to try this place because the reviews were mostly positive. To say I was disapointed with the quality of the food would be an understatement. The sides were underwhelming but, the boneless chicken, the chicken I was most looking forward to trying, tasted and looked like it had gone bad. What should have been white meat was grey, and had an unpleasant taste. Nobody could eat it, it was clearly past it's prime and shouldn't have been sold at all. It's sad they would serve old chicken like this. Haven't been back since.
As for the reply from the owner, I dont have the receipt anymore and I wasn't ever told the boneless chicken was dark meat. The chicken I was served here tasted bad, it smelled bad, the pieces were shriveled up and the meat grey. You can write it off as this is how dark meat is but, it's not. It was old chicken that shouldn't have been served.

Everything about JJ’s is just outstanding. I’m a big, big fan. The people are nice, the chicken is spectacular and they are always welcoming and friendly.
I thought the price was too much not knowing the portion size however there was a lot of chicken for the large for more than 5 people over all the chicken and the service was good

The food here is amazing. At first I thought it was a bit overpriced but I was wrong since one order is a lot of chicken and definitely much worth the price. I was surprised by the amount of chicken I got. One large order is enough for four people I couldn’t even finish myself. The service is amazing here and the atmosphere is perfect. Would definitely go here again.
