Awful experience. Waited past our reservation, table was dirty, and the server was rude and dismissive. Food was cold, bland, and overpriced. Won’t be back.

Always fresh and delicious and super cute atmosphere, it’s so nice having a place like this so close for when it’s a hassle to travel downtown or uptown. Definitely deserves to be way more busier.

I ordered the half sweet & spicy, half fried chicken because the reviews looked promising — and overall, I’d say it lived up to the hype in some ways. The packaging was great, and as soon as I opened it, I got that nostalgic old-school Korean fried chicken smell, which I really appreciated.

However, both the fried and sweet & spicy flavors were a bit too mild for my taste. If you’re expecting the bold, sweet-heat flavor of Korean yangnyeom chicken, I’d recommend going for the spicy version instead. I’ll definitely try that next time.

One big disappointment for me was the pickled radish (chicken-mu). I usually love it, but this one really missed the mark — the flavor just wasn’t there. I think the recipe needs some serious rework.

That said, the chicken itself was generous in portion and very reasonably priced. Compared to many overpriced and underwhelming Korean chicken franchises in Toronto, JJ Chicken definitely holds its own. I hope places like this thrive — they offer great value, and their success might make those big-name franchises rethink what they’re serving.

Ordered chicken with fries . No quantity at all . The order mentioned lettuce where as we didn't get any in the bowl. Dissapointed

I absolutely love Korean Fried Chicken, and my obsession started 4 years ago when I had it from Dakgogi on Youge. Let's just say they were ripping customers off with their portions and prices. I decided to give this spot a shot as I am a regular at Wing's Time up the street, and I must say that I am SUPER happy that I did. The chicken was crispy and flavourful, sauced up nicely, and yo, I know it's a lil pricy, but the portions for the ½ & ½ was ALOT. This will now be my go to for Korean FC any day, any time. ❤️

100x TIMES BETTER THAN KFC !!! super crispy and tender fried chicken. We ordered corn cheese, spicy soy and golden fried chicken. The spicy soy was def on the spicy side so be careful lol but the server was extremely nice to let us try 2 other sauces. Will def come back !!!

Recently ordered their chicken and rice bowl for delivery and was a bit disappointed. I normally get their spicy hot boneless chicken but I decided to try something new. The rice was stiff, you pay extra for boneless chicken but get maybe only 6 pieces in the bowl and the food is not even hot. I might just stick to the chicken itself.

Chicken is so damn good. Can't get enough. Price looks like it's alot. But you get alot of chicken. Well worth it. Had the garlic butter snow. Want to try other flavors too. But not sure yet lol
