Authentic Mainsha food. Same as I remember from other locations from way back. Jerk is top. Rice is top. Cole slaw is top. Could be hotter and fresher but it seem to lack patronage maybe due to time of day or its location. I will return on a Tuesday when its busiest. Cook/Owner is friendly. This place needs more support in my opinion.
I've been getting takeout from Mainsha Restaurant on Weston Rd for over a year. This place serves up some delicious Caribbean food with courteous service and congenial staff. The oxtail was the highlight – slightly sweet but bursting with rich flavour and tenderness. If you want to feel like home, get some food. My family and I needed some late night dinner and while it was late, I called the restaurant. The staff was pleasant, friendly and welcoming. We did not want any rice with our food and he was very accommodating by sending some dumplings and ripe plantain with our meal and he hooked us up.
