My girlfriend and I tried this Portuguese chicken place for the first time yesterday and didn’t realize until we walked in that they were just about to close. Instead of rushing us or turning us away, the gentleman behind the counter was incredibly kind and welcoming. He was still cutting the chicken and assembling our plates and was so generous, patient, and genuinely sweet about it. You could really tell he cared about his food and his customers. The chicken was delicious, and the experience honestly made our night. We’ll 100% be back great food and even better people.

Received raw French fries. To resolve, restaurant asked me to place an order for a small sauce through UBER and they would return large fries. so they pop expect me to pay $1.75 extra for sauce I don’t need + additional delivery fees and a tip for the driver for their mistake!!!

I’ve ordered from the St. Clair location many times before and the food was always delicious . This evening I got takeout for myself and my 91 yr old mother the way I usually do. I picked up a 1/4 chicken dinner with rice, potatoes, mixed vegetables and 2 extra hot sauce on the side. We opened the bag the minute I got home and ate right away…we were both so hungry. We were shocked. The food was cold and the chicken was dried out and there was literally no meat. It was all bones, gristle and fat... this had to be the skinniest, smallest, dried out, lowest quality chicken. How could it be cold, as the chicken is being made right in front of us as we stand in line waiting for it? Both my mother and I are small people, but were left hungry as there was next to no meat in our order. We had to “fill up” on the rice and potatoes. How can you pass off a chicken dinner with no meat? To add further insult, there was a full dried out chicken neck in the serving. This is unacceptable. And the mixed vegetables were overcooked and soggy. I was so embarrassed, knowing my mother was upset as she said nothing through the whole meal. It ruined our evening together, not to mention paying $22.21 for it. I don’t understand how your employees can serve this to customers, knowing full well what they see in front of them and being passed off as presentable or edible. The food was obviously sitting around and dried out. How can you not have a conscience and not care about your product and your customers? We did not get anywhere near what we paid for.

Walked in for a bite after a long day fishing. Was not greeted or served for 30 mins. Very much understaffed, I left without ordering and I was starving. If I could give 0 stars I would. Don’t waste your time coming here
