This bakery store front is so good! The gentleman that works at the front is so kind and always so helpful. It’s recommended to place your orders in advance, and it’s cheaper this way for large orders. I have ordered here many times including the cocktail cut cake and currant rolls. They were a complete hit at my child’s first birthday and everyone was raving about them! Nice to have a Grenadian bakery with great baked items so close by. Recently my family cannot get enough of the meat pies which are newer to the menu. The flakey dough is to die for and the meat is seasoned perfectly!

NutmegSpiced is among the best with baking the most authentic Caribbean pastries in Toronto, Canada. The pastries are not sweet to the point of burning my throat. Instead, these pastries are baked with the right equilibrium - the perfect amount of sweetness, flavour, and, texture. The packaging and presentation is a cut above many bakeries. The pastries are placed neatly in a box with labeling resembling an airline boarding pass from Toronto to the Caribbean's Spice Island, Grenada. The service at their window was warm and friendly like I was visiting a diamond resort in the Caribbean, yet at the same time, the service had that local Caribbean flare that made me feel like an official Grenadian. NutmegSpiced is truly a slice of Grenada in Little Jamaica (Eglinton Avenue West).

The packaging and presentation were really cute, and I loved the personalized note — that was such a thoughtful touch. The meat patty was my favorite. The other items just weren’t quite to my personal taste, but everything was clearly fresh and well-prepared. My Caribbean friend actually loved everything, so I think it really comes down to what you’re used to. I’d definitely go back for the patties!

My whole experience was a 10/10 from the greeting I received to the packaging of my goodies…just superb. Aaallll of the items I purchased (cheese straws, coconut drop/spice bun, turn over and spiced sorrel) were a hit and just top tier. I would highly recommend.

One of the most underrated bakeries in the city! A total gem with unique flavours and goodies. Not only are their sweets great but their meat pie was amazing...the pastry was flakey and the flavour was delicious. Lovely service as well...they even gave us something extra on top as it was our first visit and we will definitely be going back!
1st time ordering there was today. I heard good things and they did not disappoint. You order at the window or online for pick up. The young man (Eddy) who took our order was very friendly. Presentation of the order how it was boxed 5/5. Taste of pastries 6/5 😋. I'll certainly go back. Thank God they are less than 10 minutes away. Have to buy my own Cheese Straws cause my cuzn ordered that it was amazing. Totally messed up my no carbs mission but so worth it. I found their pastries tastu but not overly sugared up 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👏🏾👏🏾.
Here I go again (Oct 4/25). My 2nd review. Today I had cheese straws. patty and the rum cake. The rum cake was firm but melt in your mouth ...delish 😋. Again I'm redundant cause the score was 5/5. My only problem with Nutmeg Spiced is that they are a 20 min walk or 4-5 min drive from me. A complete contradiction to me losing weight and avoiding carbs. Once again Eddy so pleasant and engaging. All I can say is go now order now. 🇬🇩❤️💛💚 #spicegirlforever
