I honestly thought that Old Nassau was all hype and no substance. Can't be trusting these so called internet food critics, but they show up n show out, living up to all expectations and everything else. Food is amazing, customer service is great, and I can't wait to eat there again.

Brought a friend from the Bahamas, he said it was like being home. Food was made to order. . Woman that served us was friendly. Definetly will make the trip from Hamilton again

I live no where close to this place, but I am more then willing to travel here for the AMAZING food and AMAZING staff. There isn't 1 thing on their menu you will be disappointed with. As a fat guy I highly recommend!!! I promise you won't be disappointed.

I decided to try Bahamian cuisine for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised!The chicken dinner was delicious and the portions were great. The chicken was succulent and the macaroni pie was one of most the flavourful renditions I have had in Toronto. It reminded me of Barbados. I look forward to returning!

DELICIOUS!!! oh my word the food had me dancing in the kitchen. Amazing service from Luick (sp?) Very friendly and personable gentleman who was patient and helpful in explaining the menu options. I ordered chicken griot, cracked conch, steam conch, steamed chicken, conch fritters, guava duff, tamarind switcha and soursop switcha. Everything was excellent but the conch fritters were on an even higher level. Everything was so so flavourful and tasty.

The other staff were also friendly and helpful and it was truly a great vibe. The restaurant smelled delicious from the moment I walked in so I knew it was going to be good but this blew my mind. Well worth the drive from Mississauga I can't wait to go back. Kudos to the owner and the team for an outstanding food experience!

Chicken in a bag for me was chicken in foil paper show string fries tasted freezer burn and rice and potato salad needed more flavor.

I had the lunch special - fried fish, rice and beans, coleslaw w/ conch fritters.

Conch fritters were perfectly fried, crispy outside and soft doughy inside, very well spiced. My only complaint is it felt like it was lacking some conch (was more dough than anything)

The rice and beans were delicious, coleslaw was typical coleslaw (good, but nothing to write home about) and the fish was very tasty, flaky and moist , maybe could have been fried a bit more for a crispier exterior, but overall was pretty good.

Would not hesitate to come back to this place again. Only reason for the 4 star is the lack of conch ($10 for 5 fritters of basically dough) and the fish could have been a tad more fried.

We drove about 45 minutes to try a new type of cuisine. We were not disappointed by the food, service or atmosphere of Old Nassau. So glad we made the trip from Scarborough! Great to see a Black-owned business that is thriving.

My wife and daughter took me here for something different for my birthday. My wife is Jamaican and Bajan and I’m Guyanese. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this Bahamian spot. The food was great and there was lots of it. The customer service was inspiring. They were attentive and detailed about everything they did. They came out to ask us how we were doing and how the food was, and smiled and made us feel welcome. When we had questions they went out of their way to explain.

Some might say that this should be expected. All that I can say is that I was proud of the staff as it was clear to me that they were going out of their way to create an experience based on food and customer service.

And the way that people were coming in, buying food, and leaving with smiles, shows that this is a winning combination for this restaurant.

I wish the owner and staff every success and I can’t wait until I’m in the west end again to taste some of the other Bahamian food that I was too full to order.
