My partner and I stumbled upon Pazza and I’m so glad we did. It’s a bit of a 90s time capsule in the best way possible: charming, reliable, and full of character.

We shared a salad, a wood-fired Roman-style pizza (thin, crisp, with beautifully blistered edges), and a calamari appetizer that was super fresh and tender. We got a tartufo for dessert. We also shared a half-litre of wine, and my partner had a beer. The total, including a 20% tip, came to $115...

Kid-friendliness: Brought my 13 and 10 year-old for the first time - they loved it. But they know that restaurants are not a playground. Space is small so kids running around cause problems for staff/servers as well as other dinners. So bring activities to keep smaller kids sitting and occupied is my advice.

My friends and I were there on a Saturday night. It was great to see that the restaurant was full. However it was very noisy. The food was fresh and reasonably priced. We had no issue with the service. Note that the washrooms are in the basement.
