Sam, Ken, Theo, How is your roach infestation problem going? How are the mice downstairs? Ask them to move piece of furniture behind the counter in there and watch those Critters run. Especially the coffee machine 🤮🤮 This place is one of the nastiest bagel shop ever. But I mean keep putting money in your pocket vs the restaurant 🤣🤣

First time trying this on Friday. Found two small hairs, looked like beard hair on the egg. I brought it back and they replaced it which was nice, however lost my appetite after.
Best bagels we had during our stay in Toronto! We came after reading the great reviews, then returned a few days later. Very accessible from public transport, with some buses stopping just a minute away. We particularly enjoyed the roasted garlic cream cheese bagel and the bodega bagel! Very extensive menu, with many flavours available for the bread itself (onion/za’atar/everything/poppyseed etc).

I went out of my way to buy a dozen bagels because I saw this place on someone's list of "best bagels in Toronto". But I beg to differ! I found the bagels to be not at all chewy, more bread-like. The flavor was okay. The onion bagels were coated in a very fine powdery onion-like substance, not the usual larger flecks, and they did not have a strong or IMHO true onion flavour. I didn't try one of their sandwiches, so this is not a sandwich rating, only of the bagels. I'm open to the idea that these might be to other people's tastes, but we'll stick to more authentic Montreal style bagels.
