IFYKYK…a staple in Toronto for over 30 years for the beef patty lover in “little Jamaica”! It was closed down and then reopened under new management however the patty’s taste the same and I was worried it might not be with new management. Very clean spot. No dine in. They also offer meals to go. Definitely worth a trip if you’re in Toronto and love Jamaican food and or beef patty’s. A box of 12 is $30 and if you love your patty’s with cocobread then you will be pleasantly surprised! No pics was too busy eating…Tell them I sent you 😉

Some of these negative reviews are unbelievable! They must be competitiors or eating the CNE knockoff or just haters. lol. I stood in line last Thursday for a little over an hour and I did not regret it. Randy's is still is the greatest. I saw one of the old staff in the back (chinese lady) but this others seems new. Been going to Randys for over 30 years. The patties are still awesome. I had one as soon as i stepped out the shop. Too soon! I burned my mouth....again.. lol) I also had the oxtail and it was even nicer than before they closed down! While I was there, the cashiers had to deal with some BS from some rude aggressive people but they handled it well. Very pleasant people. Good energy, nice new look. I still love my Randy's ....and the cook food too! Welcome back!

BEST PATTIES IN TORONTO! The owner is such a sweetheart, and her staff are the most hospitable and attentive I've seen! There's a reason why Randy's always has lineups and is in high demands THEY KNOW AMAZING food! Don't believe the negative reviews. When I say these patties are like having bricks of gold especially in Toronto!!!!! They are made fresh, served nice and hot, and it's a really good portion for a really good price too! They put every patty place to shame full package great food, great staff, great vibes! Blessing us in the Eglinton area too!!

The new “Randy’s” will never compare to the original. Patties are definitely not the same. The chicken patty is horrible. Curry goat meal is 90% rice, 7% coleslaw & 3% goat. The goat tasted like it was seasoned with only pimento, pepper and sugar.

Ordered 5 dozen cocktail sized patties. They were awesome, as usual. So happy that they have decided to reopen. What an absolute treasure to have this amazing spot in Toronto. Worth the line!

I’ve waited so long and I finally had the chance to visit Randy’s since their reopening and I’m sorry to say I am disappointed. I blindly bought 2x dozen frozen patties, bought one hot ready patty to eat. Spent approximately $70.00. When I took a bite I noticed that the pastry was a little different, no big deal but the meat filling was dry like a paste! Where’s the runny gravy that you used to have? At $30 for a dozen if it was the original patty that we known Randy’s for, no problem. So I thought ok I’ll warm up the frozen ones I purchased. Nope they were the same dry patties. So disappointed, drove so far for nothing. And the frozen patties were baked! People buy the frozen patties unbaked so the dough can be fresh and to be enjoyed freshly baked. Also they were inconsistent. On the board it said spicy only, then they asked me spicy or regular so I said one of each. I bought 2x boxes. But when I warmed the “regular” patties they were spicy. Anyways I’m not sure if these are the same people from before. For the high price point and dry patties. I do not recommend. I would rather go to either Tinnels or Kingston patties. Please bring back the original patties. Cheaper and better. There was no line up when I arrived maybe people are catching on and are one time customers.

About a month ago, a family friend picked up a few new generation patties from Randy's and was very excited to check them out. I really wish she bought a box because they tasted so good. The pastry had a gorgeous colour, was flaky and tasty. The filling was seasoned right, delicious and the texture is spot on.

Congratulations to the community of people who reimagined what this GTA landmark looks and tastes like, building on the legacy of the original Randy's, established in the late 70s.

It’s not a question if the food is good or not. It’s good the fact is their portion sizes are ridiculous. I purchased a large curry goat and the amount of goat was totally unreasonable for 18+tax big big Randy’s pattys has to do better

Typically I'll see a line leading out of the store, but we were lucky enough to visit on a day where there were only a few people ahead. Randy's sells beef, chicken, and vegetable patties - always fresh, never frozen! However the chicken wasn't available the day we went. They also serve meals - oxtail, curry goat, and jerk chicken, as well as drinks - water, soursop juice, coconut water.

We ordered a dozen beef patties (a single is $2.85), and they were quick to make. The crust was so flakey and delicious. We were eating on the go and the filling ended up at the bottom of the patty - it was still very good and had a slight kick.

Accessibility: some street parking available.

I grew up on the original Randy's Patties. We'd travel from the ends of the earth for that unique, authentic taste. I'm happy they reopened and are fulfilling a want of the community. They've done well trying to preserve the staple beef patty taste according to those I know who eat beef. But, the veggie flavor and quality is rather off. They just reopened, and I'm sure they'll revisit it. They're customer service is top notch and they are very attentive to thier customers. If they fix that taste I'll be back to revisit it.

Vegetarian options: Yeah, not so tasty

Been coming here for years before it closed down couple years ago.

Dropped by to get a dozen frozen patties since they reopened and I was really disappointed with the quality. The previous frozen patties were not pre-baked, but the dozen I got this time was.

My best guess is they just froze the ones they couldn't sell from the previous day. Leaving these old nasty patties for the next sucker who orders the frozen ones, me.

Everybody who has been here knows the filling is usually juicy and runny, these were bone dry. Probably sitting in those heat ovens for hours before freezing it.

Both picture is how I received them, frozen and haven't been reheated yet.

I'm hoping this is a one off scam, but standing behind my 1 star for being a shady business since reopening.

Patties are good. Beef is the best, but chicken and vegetable patties are also good. Long lines, but well-managed. Be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes.
