Pleasant people but your harddough bread was dry and tough. Unless something is done to make it more moist, I'll have to get my bread elsewhere.

It's very famous so I went to try and I like the way they make fresh or I feel the bread is little to dry side outer side but otherwise is OK.

I use to go to this bakery for fresh bread as a child. The food is still amazing. The customer service is great and the atmosphere is still a vibe. I definitely will be back.

A long time fixture of the Eglinton West community. Been serving the neighborhood fresh and delectable baked goods for many decades.
So good in fact, that my friend's grandparents asks her to grab them bread, when she travels to Ottawa to see them.

Had fresh Coco buns and have been back a few times since it's so close to home. Always smells soo good inside. And the bread and buns have always been fresh and delicous. And to the other reviewers complaining about the nice lady working the desk, she's a gem and don't be so judgemental

What a mistake!!So for Easter Sunday I bought 3 different types of bun.One of the buns was a Spice bun from this location.?‍?The Spice bun was dry as a desert. 2nd day, the bun was hard as a rock. I knocked it with my knuckles. We moved on to the Easter bun from Danforth, ?my taste buds were happy. It was moist and delicious. Last bun was from Tastees. Let not discuss this. It was just as bad as this one from Sunlight. It just didn't become a rock the following day.Now let's discuss sunlights cashier. She has an attitude that needs readjusting. Very unfriendly environment. I'd advise her to find a job someone that would bring back life into her. I would not recommend this store unless there's new management.Just being honest! Also, I have a video if anyone is interested .The facility is clean though.

Loved the baked goods at Sunlight, but the lady always looks miserable. A smile would be more welcoming x appreciated.

Recommend to come at lunchtime when all the stores and restaurants on the street are open. The fresh hot bread is amazing. Recommend buying the whole wheat bread products. The coconut cake, bread pudding, and coco bread are delicious, too. They also have cinnamon raisin buns and carribean groceries, mostly grace pantry products.

Been coming to this bakery since I was kid. Still amazing and it’s been so many years. Get the fresh hardo bread when it’s just baked and it’s so good!
