Don't sleep on the breakfast offerings..yes they do breakfast! This is my second wknd having breakfast delivery. Both times with the callaloo&salt fish with provisions the first time it was OK i had more provisions than the main i was irritated about that ,it also came with a mini porridge which was soooo good. The callaloo was good fresh which is key and nicely seasoned. This morning I ordered the same thing but added on a fried dumpling but this time I added a note to add more of the main and half of the provision. Wow today's dish was even better than last week..love how they prepared this..only thing I was disappointed about was no porridge today it came with a water..but that's fine maybe they were just out..Anyway like I said don't sleep on the breakfast they have plenty of options from the national dish ackee and saltfish and everthing inbetween ..I'm actually going to message Uber eats because on the wknds or maybe even during the week they have a breakfast tab as an option not sure why this spot doesnt come up in the intial search..I'm going to suggest they add it. I had a small Chicken Jerk Box. 1 leg. 1 thigh. With rice and slaw & a bottle of water for $7.01. The taste was great…and the jerk tingled on my lips for the next hour. 5/5 for value (you can’t even buy a burger and fries at McDonalds for that). Will go back.

am i a jerk for saying The Jerk Box was just OK? it meet all the expectations of fast food service in a mall. Clean. Ok chicken, but not exceptional. I wanted to eat chicken. And peas. The volume of rice dwarfed what i wanted to eat, what i paid for, would pay more for, if i could have more of what i came for: Jerk Chicken. Jerk was burning hot, no subtly here. The chicken itself, sadly some of it dry.

Very disappointed! Almost 60$ for 2 Callaoo breakfast on Uber eats and the little portion I got was very concerning. Very frustrating that I ordered calaloo and got ALL Cabbage they said it’s Callao and cabbage mix let me tell you I got all cabbage what kid of authentic Jamaican restaurant gives you cabbage instead of calaloo. Never again. And honestly their food is wayyyy too spicy. You can’t even taste the food because of how spicy it is. Save your money people/ last week I ordered their bbq chicken 2 dinners for my husband i considering they had alright reviews about the bbq. The bbq chicken was absolutely disgusting I ended up wasting 67$ that day. The bbq literally had no bbq on it just some dry price of chicken never again will I be ordering for here. This is why Jamaicans loose customers because they want to deal with people like were idiots never again. If I can give 0 starts I would. All cabbage in this calaloo a friggin joke Man. People spend their hard working money on your food & you guys want to deal with people like this!!! 50$ for what I got in the picture below. That is supposed to be calaloo and saltfish all I got was cabbage & barely no saltfish. Beware of this place everyone.
I order beef soup on Uber eats and as skeptical as I am about ordering certain things online, I took a chance because it was needed. I received soup full of fat, bones, potatoes and literally 1 tiny piece of beef with fat all over it. That’s not even beef soup. That’s a shame. Never again.

The people here are so sweet and the food is so good. Everything taste like it was made with love. Good quality ingredients and good portions. The ackee and saltfish here is top-tier. I cannot stop buying it. I wasn’t feeling well once and ordered soup, I felt healed after eating it. It truly made me feel better. This is a restaurant where I can honestly say everything is good and mean it.

Customer service is the worst typical jamaican restaurant food was decent

I went there to purchase two lunches. First turn off was the lack of customer service. The waitress doesn't greet you nor say thank you, nevertheless as the customer I did. Secondly she was singing to the music playing in the background while dishing out my food which made me question if these people are trained. I don't enjoy someone's saliva going into my food because they are singing to a vybz kartel song while dishing out my food. This is also a problem at the jane and lawrence location where these ladies are singing while dishing out food. Jerk box is on top of the game when it comes to their food being tasty but that day their BBQ chicken tasted horrible. Upon careful investigating I learnt that the owner mixes business and pleasure and that's the reason why these female employees act so ghetto and tasteless. Please stop employing ghetto people in your business cause I'm not impressed and let them know not to be singing while dishing out food. It is not sanitary.
