They don't have a functional washroom, or they are liars. Neither are good. If you buy food and drink you should be allowed to use the washroom.

I needed some classy baked goods as a gift for a party in Toronto, the problem is that I live in Calgary. The Red Scale team was incredibly helpful. They helped me put an order together that fit the occasion, delivered it and even supplied a hand written card. The fancy cupcakes were loved by the party. This is a great company with wonderful caring people that bakes tasty works of art. Thanks so much for your help

You cannot just go in for a quick in and out - so much to take in…….and you want to buy it all!!!I special ordered a strawberry shortcake for a friend’s bridal shower I was hosting and it was simple a work of art, not to mention how amazing it tasted! I’ve been buying my kid’s birthday cakes at Red Scale Bake Shop for a number of years now, basically since the pandemic when I wanted to shop more local vs going to Loblaws like I always did in the past.After hearing about their opening up in the area and following the page on IG, I became really drawn to the beauty of their cakes and was also pleasantly surprised as how comparable the cost was to Loblaws.I’m never disappointed at the creation of my kids bday cakes at Red Scale, always beautiful, perfect and sinfully delicious!He uses fresh ingredients and will take my ideas and turn it into works of cake art!The last cake was a “Drake cake” for my daughter’s bday and we all just stared at it for the longest time before eating it because it was so beautiful!
We have now used Red Scale for three separate events and the owner keeps outdoing himself. He is so incredibly talented - with minimal direction from us (basic photos of our theme), he creates works of art. And it’s always delicious as well.Can’t say enough about this place.

So happy I found this little treasure in the neighbourhood!I popped into the Red Scale Bake Shop and saw a fabulous selection of treats and baked goods to choose from. I decided to try the lavender shortbread cookies and they were ‘melt in your mouth’ delicious!I later ordered a cake for my grandson’s birthday. Owner and baker Saru’s kind and friendly manner was so appreciated. His professional attention to detail, skill and creativity provided the most beautiful cake that was a fun focal point to our birthday celebration! Best of all it tasted as good as it looked!I highly recommend this bakery as Saru will provide a delicious and beautiful experience for any occasion you may need fresh baked goods.As well, there are lovely and delicious gluten-free, dairy free and vegan options available upon request.Pop in and enjoy a sweet treat from Red Scale Bake Shop!

Amazing experience purchasing a custom cake from The Redscale Bake Shop. Saru is so very talented and an incredible baker. He designed a truly beautiful cake that was a piece of art. Everyone raved about how delicious it was and how amazing it looked. Saru designed the cake exactly as I requested but took it up a few notches making it incredible.Highly recommend.

I live in the UK and was coming to Toronto to visit my sister, so Saru was very helpful communicating with me online before collection. The cake is absolutely beautiful and so so delicious, absolutely perfect and will definitely be ordering again when I am in Toronto for more celebrations!
