Not certain what this place was supposed to be...- Daycare for the owner's child? (Loud screaming kid running around)- Craft project for the owner's wife? (4 paint nights a month)- Ping Pong table among other random tables.- The only comfortable "booth" filled with the owner's personal items rather than that stuff being in the back or the room the screaming child was normally.- Way too small tables for normal TCG games- $5 muffins? What? This isn't sprinkles, why are you overcharging for these?- Coffee goes bad after 2 hours and becomes incredibly acidic, the pots were not often refreshed, likely due to lack of business.- Expectation that the City was supposed to create events for a private business (rumor based on Facebook post by the owner).Recommendations:Form an actual, factual business plan. Make your business about one specific thing before you branch out. Create a uniform atmosphere for your customers rather than an establishment that looks like a used furniture store.

This is by far 1 of my favorite places in Albany. It's a shame it's closing its doors. Amazing atmosphere and overall a fun place, the owners are great, and friendly. Even with all the struggles at the beginning they are still amazing and have created and helped a community. Sad to see them go

Citadel is great! I’ve been there a couple of times for Thursday trivia nights. The owner is great and so is the guy leading trivia night. It’s fun having a space that can host many different kinds of events like it does (trivia night, paint night, etc.) and even during those things, there are other guests sitting around playing board games, D&D, etc. I have friends who’re regulars and really appreciate this space. Their chocolate chip cookies are DIVINE! The hot chocolate is yummy. Their other food options are limited, but good for a quick snack. I’d recommend visiting sometime!

Citadel Oasis has INCREDIBLE events! Such a fun atmosphere. Not to mention, the food is great! I have enjoyed smoothies, sandwiches, protein rice bowls, and yummy cookies. It is one of my favorite places to hang out. The community is wonderful.
Citadel Oasis is an amazing place to reconnect with those you love. Their selection of board games grows regularly. The food is great. The variety of bookings and events is fantastic!

I had so much fun! I got a meal at a reasonable price and was able to spend time with my family while playing board games and having fun. We had enough room to play multiple games and everyone brought people to play with. It was a big enough space to fit our three families and a few others for the fun open mic night. It was a great family atmosphere and had tons of fun. Definitely coming again for date nights and friend hangout!
