La Roca is a great restaurant with bright, beautiful decor and a spotless, cheery atmosphere. The staff is gracious, fun, attentive, and super friendly. The food is delicious, fresh, and well prepared. The El Jefe Margarita and spicy pineapple margaritas are excellent. Dishes like chicken fajitas, phenomenal mole, and molcajete feature rich flavors, tender meat, and seasoning that is on point. The service is attentive and always helpful. While the place can get crowded, it is a nice and chill spot with comfortable booths and tables for larger groups. There have been a couple occasions where the food was bland and needed more flavor, but usually it hits the mark. La Roca is definitely one of Albany's better Mexican locations.
