Not sure if this is kosher, but I have been a server here for 10 plus years. Lum Yuens changed hands in management a few years back and the name changed to Lums Garden. We still have regular customers that call it Lum Yuens. As of the first of October, the owners have changed hands again, to Rainbow House. They closed for a week to do a small remodel, and currently are remodeling all areas of the restaurant. I challenge anyone that has left a review about the restaurant's cleanliness...read full review
Now called Rainbow Place. Newly remodeled facilities . Wide menu selection of Chinese and American food. Very friendly fast service . located near interstate 5 and adjacent to local motels . Family atmosphere. Gambling and Bar on site .
Good place! I like it! I think this is the best Chinese restaurant in Albany. I am Chinese, I am very picky in Chinese food. It was my first time dining in Rainbow house. The food were so large, the service were very nice, and everything are my favorite. And the atmosphere is very great there. I had a very good time, so I will come back next time. I very recommend the Szechuan chicken and Kung pao chicken. They taste the same as in China.
