Atmosphere is what you'd expect for a place called Pops Branding Iron. An Albany institution. Food is decent, on the diner side. It is always busy and loved by locals. Been going there for many many years. My wife remarked that Pops is the place we were at when she first felt our first of 4, unborn child move. That was 44 years ago. It goes back further than that for me. I grew up a few blocks from there. Had breakfast there if I had a few bucks saved up from my paper route...
This is just a wholesome place to get breakfast or lunch and meet your friends to catch up. The people are kind, and the food is decent. We sit in the back room and take up a few long tables, when we meet with large groups of people.
Such a great homey atmosphere! Came here last minute when our breakfast plans fell through and we were able to be seated right away! The staff was very friendly and personable. The food was well priced and I was very pleased with how everything tasted! It reminded me of the breakfast my mom would make for me when I was younger! I'm sure we'll be back!
