This place has one of the best chefs in the NW. I think his style is traditional French. He has really upped his vegetarian menu option since our last visit. The cabbage "steak" was a delightful amusement park of flavor. It was the best thing I've eaten in a long time.Vegetarian options: They typically offer one vegetarian option. Historically, it has been good. Last night, it was spectacular. As I understand it, the chef has become more interested in using his superpowers to explore vegetarian options. If you are a vegetarian and haven't been there in a while, it is worth a trip back.

The atmosphere of this place is great. Nice for celebrations or just wanting to eat good food and have a good time.Food was good (the Vindaloo a tad salty), and the serving portions were quite large. Their chocolate cake was really good.Wine selection is broad and good.But their service was top-notch. Both waiters were attentive, responsive, and polite. Our glasses were never empty!It seems like now, I have another good reason to drive to Albany.
Amazing food!! Amazing atmosphere!! The service was impeccable. Jesse is the best server on planet earth. I wanted to leave 10 stars but I guess I'll settle for five. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic.My son and I reserved for dinner earlier this week. We ordered appetizers multiple entrees and shared a dessert.Every item was amazing.I’ve eaten at top European restaurants and Sybaris food and service was comparable in every respect.I’m glad to have such fine creative menu and establishment located less than 30 minutes from my home.

We chose Sybaris Bistro for a birthday celebration, and I just can't say enough! Our table had 11 guests and we were greeted with excellent hospitality, the server was exceptional with perfect timing and an amazing sense of humor, and the food...the FOOD! Absolutely incredible. We will most definitely be coming back. ☆☆☆☆☆!

We have been coming to Sybaris Bistro for at least 15 years. Our son was about 6 years old when we started. Now our son is a senior in college and we are still celebrating special times here! We just had the Valentine's dinner last night -- and everything was exquisite. The wine pairings, the food, absolutely perfect, and the best service always. You feel so well treated, not rushed. Matt is truly an outstanding chef, creative, and the energy in Sybaris is always warm and friendly. Janel and Jesse, and everyone else on staff last night -- five stars to all of you! And that is always the case! That's why we keep coming back and recommending Sybaris! Thank you again, for another sweet memory, and outstanding in "everything"!

I wish I could give more stars honestly! The service was the best I have ever received, amazing servers and attention to detail is unmatched! The drinks were fantastic, perfectly mixed and well crafted. Then the food! Oh my goodness, the food was amazing! Cannot say enough good things about the taste, texture, and overall essence of what food should be. My only regret was that we were too full to get dessert! It was an absolute perfect date night, wish we could have another 10 just like it! My husband and I will be back soon, probably with the in-laws to impress them as well! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

My children and husband treated me to a 70th birthday dinner and presented me with 50 cards from friends and family. What I especially loved was the quiet, peaceful atmosphere without any loud music therefore we could hear each other. The nice cozy fireplace was wonderful and I especially loved the desserts.

Went there for a date night. My wife has sensitivities to many common foods and spices, the chef there was able to modify a dish on the menu so it would be safe for her and even let us know that if we call ahead of time, they will make a dish safe for her. I ordered the Stargazy pie and we also got the seasonal dessert. I highly recommend it. The waitress was pleasant and fantastic. If possible, ask to sit by the fire at this time of year. Highly recommend and will be back.Dietary restrictions: Able to accomodate for several intolerance to many common ingredients.
