Very nice hang out spot! Several taps, the employee working was super nice. She was friendly and allowed me to sample a few taps before purchasing to make sure I liked the drink! The food was ok, basic bar food. They have lots of TV screens and a projector with a nice big screen to watch events! Definitely worth coming back.

This place has a ton of potential. Huge variety, decent food, cute decor. The service from the bartender was less than stellar. We came in at 8pm on a night they are open until 11 and she immediately started treating us like we were a massive inconvenience. We did have two minors with us and were gone by 9, per the rules but the hurried, sour attitude we got was a bit much.
Aside from the less than stellar service, a couple of us ordered a tap beer that was filled with ice and then when there was room in the glass, it was more ice, rather than drink.
The reason the food and service were rated as high as they are is because of the guy working the kitchen. He was a polite, attentive, and respectful dude. We tipped him separately and made sure he understood that we appreciated him.

Absolutely love the garage! Jessi and Ellie are such amazing bartenders - always smiling and remember the little details (like my drink order). They have great food, beer/cider selection, and fun events every week. I am so happy Albany has such a great local watering hole like this place!
