Update, new owners and the food definitely isn't the same. Sorry but won't come back

This has been one of my favorite restaurants for over 15 years, but have had to cut back due to food restrictions and now they've introduced new GF options, and I'm thrilled!! This was so delicious, will be back! Try the GF orange chicken!

Every city in the United States needs a Chinese takeout joint--one with fantastic food, friendly staff that feels like family, and no nonsense. Szechuan House is exactly that. It's a place I'd attend weekly if I lived in the area (and in fact, it makes me wish I did live in the area). More cannot be said about how Szechuan House is emblematic of everything America's melting pot has to offer. You just have to try it yourself.

We’re from San Francisco and this is the best Chinese food we’ve had in the 10 years of living here. This is as close as you’ll get

The best pot stickers in oregon. My go to is the potstickers and BBQ pork and sweet and sour chicken

Best Chinese food I have ever had.

The food is still good. The service is still friendly. The poor fish in that large tank are suffering neglect and need to be rescued.

Ok this is not authentic chinese food. this is americanized chinese food aka like panda express

HOWEVER, They give you more protein in your orders and the value is amazing

I would say one of the best Americanized chinese food in Oregon.

It is a must try

First time trying this place & we were not disappointed!! We have a go-to place on the East side but have yet to find something comparable since we moved over to this side of town. This place is definitely our new favorite & we will be back!! The lady was very nice, not only to us but also the other 2 tables seated in the restaurant. The food was quick, fresh & so delicious!! Very generous portions, we ate our fill & still had plenty leftover for dinner.

Vegetarian options: Dry sautéed green beans were AMAZING!!

Charming small Chinese food restaurant. We ordered several different spicy dishes and white the food was fresh and the flavors good they all lacked spice even though there was quite a bit of red pepper chili flake. They have been better, maybe this was an off night.

Wheelchair accessibility: The entry is wheelchair accessible and seating is also.

The service at this place is highly unacceptable, the person who served us, did it in a rude and rude manner, never brought enough plates, cutlery and napkins to the table and even threw things on the table. I would definitely think twice about returning to this place. ***The service in this place is extremely unacceptable, the person who served us did so in a rude and rude manner, never brought enough plates, cutlery and napkins to the table and even threw things on the table. Without a doubt I would not return to this place.***
