We had a lovely dinner on the outside patio. The cocktails were good but very expensive. The service was mostly attentive, however no one asked if we wanted additional drinks after our first order. The most annoying thing was that I ordered a salmon meal that was supposed to be on a "salad" of green papaya. There was no papaya to be seen but instead was lightly cooked shallots. I asked the waiter and he insisted that the shallots were papaya... It all tasted good but...
Service was not up to par. We waited over 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. The drinks took an eternity to get to our table. The waitress was very slow. The food took an extremely long time to arrive as well. It made the night quite disappointing.
Great Happy Hour Experience at Alchemy. We were a group of 6 that had a very pleasant dinner outside at Alchemy before walking over to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The HH menu is very reasonable. A few of us ordered HH and others ordered off the regular dinner menu. The HH menu had a great burger and salad along with $6 glasses of wine. The salmon off the dinner menu was excellent. We highly recommend this spot.
