Big Al's is always great! The double burgers, the Ortega Chicken sandwich, and the onion rings are some of our favorite things. The shakes are fantastic! Service is always friendly and quick. Classic cozy and kitschy diner atmosphere.
Big Al’s has a special vibe. From the minute you step foot in the door, you can see from the memorabilia and the menu that this place has been around for a while, and it has its very own personality. Is it upscale? No. It is modern? Also no. But it speaks to who Big Al’s is in the community and what they serve to the people who come here. We live in Iowa, but when come to Ashland, we always pop in for lunch. This time, I had two ground beef tacos which came with refried...
So far everything I've gotten from there did not disappoint, the Grizzly burger reminded me of a burger joint in Cali where i grew up. Easily drive from medford to Ashland for a burger!
