Good, But Stick to the Noodles and Bento Boxes
I've been to Bonsai a couple of times now, and my experience has been a bit mixed, but overall, it's a solid choice for a meal in Ashland. On my first visit, I tried the California roll and the spicy salmon roll. I have to say, they weren't my favorite. The flavors didn't quite hit the mark for me, and I've definitely had better sushi elsewhere.

The teriyaki far exceeded expectations. I had chicken lunch entree. That came when rice, salad (with a nice creamy vinaigrette), and so surprisingly great tempura. Companion had salmon lunch bento. That had some California w6ill and gyoza. Food was excellent and the servings were so generous I had to check that these were the lunch portions. They were. Great lunch.
