I was a little surprised to be told there's a 10 to 15 minute wait for a table at 12:30 on a cold Wednesday in December. About eight minutes later I got a text my tablet was ready, but then it was another ten minutes before my drink order was taken, five more minutes for my food order and another 15 minutes till my food arrived. But it was totally worth the wait, I ordered the Eggs Benedict and a cappuccino, the eggs were cooked to perfection and the wonderful hollandaise...
Visiting Ashland and came here for breakfast. I had the California omelet, it was perfection, breakfast potatoes were crispy like I like, Sourdough toast was yummy, do not miss the marionberry jam. Service was great, coffee cup never empty. We had a booth at the window with a nice view, all in all great start to the day!
Eating out in the Summer on the porch of Breadboard is just about the perfect way to have a brunch. That said, they were not on top of their game for our visit. My breakfast burrito was excellent and the salsa verde was bright and sparked the whole dish. MY partner's eggs Benedict, on the other hand, left something to be desired. Although the sauce was bright and perfectly lemony, the egg yolk was overcooked and so not runny, and the muffin was burned. The former happens...
