One of the better places to eat in Ashland. Overall the food is really good and the staff is friendly and attentive. During our last visit our server was a bit distracted by another table making our order process a bit slow <- This is why I did not give them 5 stars.

This was the first place we went out on a date at, so we always enjoy going back here. We love the atmosphere of the place. The steak and potatoes are one of our favorite dishes, and then the dirty fries as a starter are great!

Sat on the balcony, really enjoyed our time.

Food was creative and fresh, very welcoming atmosphere and great service. The bar area was a fun place to sit!

This was a lovely meal. If you sit outside on the patio you can listen to the creek flowing. They have an awning and umbrellas for the outdoor dining. The food was locally sourced and yummy. The menu wasn’t too long, but everything was done well. We were pleasantly surprised by the baked olives served warm with herbs. The loaded fries! You can’t go wrong with bacon. We went in a group and everyone loved their food and craft cocktails. The hummingbird and Mary Sue were our two favorite cocktails. It is on a second floor so make sure you’re looking for it.

I absolutely adored my experience here. I sat outside for an early dinner. The sun was hitting the balcony just right and the creek was babbling away. I ordered the dirty fries (no banana pepper) as an appetizer and the cherry pork belly for my meal (substituting rice for the polenta which I think made it a lighter dish). The fries were tasty and the ranch was really good. The pork belly though?! Out of this world good. The cherry compote is perfectly acidic to balance the fattiness of the pork belly, then the chili oil drizzle gives it this mild but lingering heat and the shaved green onions on just add delicious freshness. I highly highly recommend this dish. I’m only visiting for 2 days and I’m considering going back for it tomorrow!!!

Both the food and the drinks were very good. Authentic Indian food, served spicy if you want. The servers are very excellent.

3 of us arrived at 7:50 pm on Thursday May 8th 2025. Hands down the worst experience we've ever had a restaurant. When we arrived it was extremely cold and it went downhill from there. We ordered our food at 7:55. An hour goes by and still no food or any mention of food by our server who was extremely rude and had no business being in that position. He was horrible and didn't care about anything! There was hardly anyone in this place but did notice that 2 young ladies came in 15 minutes after we did. They ate, got there leftovers boxed up and left before we even received our food. Then we asked to get our food to go and that took another 10 minutes. Then the food disgusting! We told the server about the experience and he didn't give a care either way. Do not go through what experienced! Horrible!

My husband and I went there on a Sunday, May 4th, for a late lunch. Our first time there. The young lady who shows us to the table is nice but not a friendly feeling. She was stuck up. It was not a good impression. A professionalism does not need to give out that feeling to a guest. After we got seated, the guy from the bar (he is tall and has grey hair) took our order. We ordered a baby pretzel bite, the peariyaki chicken sandwich, and the Brickroom burger. After a while, our main meal came out, but the baby pretzel bites never did. We did not mention it because no one came by to ask if we needed anything more until we finished our main food. We could see the employees gathering together to chit-chat at the bar where we were seated instead of caring about the guests. They never made eye contact with us. After finishing our food, that same bar guy came and asked if we needed a box. I looked down at the table and back at him, saying nothing was left for a box. It was not a good feeling. How can he not notice? By the way, there were only six other tables when we were there. Overall, the food that day was good, but the service was not. So the chief did great, but not the people up front were bad.
Regarding the price, we expect better service. There are many better services for the same price and food at another place. This place has potential, but because of the service, it will not make it like many other restaurants unless it changes its customer service. Trust me; I lived in this area long enough to know. Before this restaurant was Alex's, and before that was the Black Sheep.

This place has a great atmosphere, entrance is a little hard to find, but when you enter, it goes up the 2nd floor. There is a place to dine on the balcony with a nice view of the river and town. A great place to take a date.
The employee's were very attentive. I sat on the bar, the bartender asked me right away. I had the flat iron steak medium well and the taste was amazing. I would highly recommend this place. The location is great also with plenty of areas to walk around outside. I appologize for the pucture, it lookes so good that I took a bite before taking the pic.
The price is not bad either, its not cheap, but its not the most expensive either.

The AI summary says dog friendly, but they only allow service animals.

Can’t go wrong ordering the steak plate. My pictures is a bit rough but I started to eat it as soon as I got it it looked too good to take a picture first

Place was awesome. 9:45pm on a Wednesday, place was still fairly busy. Chicken strips were refreshingly not from a bag, scratch made and good. Pork belly and polenta was off the hook. Then the deep fried pear thing... didn't know I needed that in my life, but I do. Bar tenders were attentive, helpful, and friendly.
