Good food. The filet mignon was excellent but the place is old and worn out.

I had to give the food only 3 stars my steak was perfect and delicious but my husband's first steak was pure tendon fat and grissle and his second steak was cooked incorrectly but he just ate the second one the waitress was so sweet and attentive she saw and apologied and even thanked us for not being upset about it lol. It is a small and intimate setting in the mainfloor of a old home requiring the tables to need to be very small so we were thankful we have both lost weight recently lol

I didn't feel that the food and dining experience matched the menu prices. The restaurant is in the $50-60 steak segment. My strip loin was overcooked by one grade and the presentation was quite basic, served on what I believe to be a melamine plate patterned in a style that was incongruous with the table setting. The side order of glazed carrots was underdone, though the Pomme Puree was very good. While my companion was pleased with the Risotto, it was not enough to save the meal.

Kitchen was having a rough night. Fries sat under the lamps for 18 mins... I saw them go up and started the timer. Yup, cold fries. For the price, I'd expect better. While not full or busy, long waits. Second time there, probably not going back.

Nice place with fun drinks, but the Cod and Escargot had very little flavor, needed salt or acid

We had the special spring soup, that was creative and very tasteful. The halibut was prepared nicely with a nice sauce and the side of broccolini was excellent and season uniquely, showing skill in the chef, whereas the sauce on the halibut and the Charlotte Royal dessert were very good, but not the "outstanding" one expects from a high end Ashland restaurant. Service was excellent and the wine choices superb.

Food was excellent quality and taste. Hard to find vegetarian choices. Presentation was elegant and served in Michelin star manner. Place was well kept and it is inviting atmosphere. Will be back soon. Worth the price. Thxs

If I could I would give a 6 ⭐

This place surprised me a lot, my husband and I went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were delighted with the food and service.

If you go there PLEASEEEE try the onion soup 🤌🏻
This outfit led me to the heavens, the Tartare was also delicious, highly recommended!

But, ok, I'm here to talk about the steak, it was another level.
My husband ordered his raw 🥩 and it come exactly how he loves, normally the restaurant always messes up and he never get it right. It was just right, good job to the team, I can't wait to come back.

Ive been here a few times and every time it hits the same. The Denver steak has become my family's go to meal for celebrating big achievements.

The food was pretty good. The duck was dry, and the black char on my ribeye was too much. Took over the taste of the steak. Overall, it was a bit overpriced for what it was, but the Creme Brule was delicious. The mixed drinks were good and not too expensive, and they had a good variety of Wines, Conac, and Absinthe.

I ordered an 8oz wagyu new York strip and what I recieved was very tough, burned on the outside and not anywhere near the quality I expected for a $60 steak. Fingerling potatoes were undercooked and mashed sweet potatoes were cold. Highly disappointed.

good service. Drinks were good, appetizers were ok. The poutine was lacking gravy with too many fries. The rest was fine, not great. The folks that had steak enjoyed it. My hamburger, ordered medium, was VERY WELL DONE. To the point that I didn’t eat it.

I will not go back to this restaurant because of the sordid atmosphere, even the tablecloths were black. And the chairs were hard and uncomfortable. A vase of flowers on the tables would have cheered up the room a little. I ordered onion soup and risotto. The risotto dish was not what I would call a risotto. It mainly was made of steamed rise and a few not cooked mushroom pieces. It was bland and lacked ingredients that would make it tasty. The onion soup was not anything to write home about.
