Our experience was wonderful! One of the best steaks we have ever consumed! Cooked to perfection, amazing flavor, great char on the outside, with a delicious truffle jus. We also enjoyed the escargot & artichoke appetizers. We will definitely be back to have more steak, as a steak like that can be hard to find!
This is our new favorite in southern Oregon. Food is pretty good, drinks good, service is excellent. We love the ambiance.
Excellent. Every course of the meal was great. French onion, soup, steak, filet mignon, and the mushrooms.
First time here. Probably not again, however. There is no cut of beef worth $100, with many coming in over $50! Seriously, the best “value” is the hamburger, coming in at a whopping $26! That's a full meal elsewhere. It was good but not great, and certainly not huge. Beet salad was good, but about as dainty as a daisy. Really? At least offer some bread. So, overall, good flavors, good service, good ambience, but needs to get a grip that their menu's prices don't justify what they're offering.
What an enchanting evening! From start to finish, we were well treated by excellent servers. Our dinner was right before a show, and the staff kept us on schedule. I haven't had a steak that good in years! Bravo.
The food at Chateaubriand did not disappoint. I had a chicken dish which was cooked perfectly, not dry, with carrots and a potato purée. The staff were very attentive. My only disappointment was the lack luster patio I was hoping to dine on. The weather was perfect for outdoor dining but the patio had 0 charm.
Wonderful service and amazing food. The presentation and flavors were both remarkable! Definitely worth visiting every time we're visiting Ashland.
We had amazing food Excellent French onion soup Beautifully cooked and seasoned filet Best lemon drop ever!
Excellent food. While services was pleasant, it was a little slow. Bottom line... I'd eat there again.
Good food. The filet mignon was excellent but the place is old and worn out.

Service from our energetic team was great. Steak mediocre, definitely a step down from previous visits. The best thing we ate was the orange marmalade crème brûlée Overall a disappointing evening.
I had to give the food only 3 stars my steak was perfect and delicious but my husband's first steak was pure tendon fat and grissle and his second steak was cooked incorrectly but he just ate the second one the waitress was so sweet and attentive she saw and apologied and even thanked us for not being upset about it lol. It is a small and intimate setting in the mainfloor of a old home requiring the tables to need to be very small so we were thankful we have both lost weight recently lol

I didn't feel that the food and dining experience matched the menu prices. The restaurant is in the $50-60 steak segment. My strip loin was overcooked by one grade and the presentation was quite basic, served on what I believe to be a melamine plate patterned in a style that was incongruous with the table setting. The side order of glazed carrots was underdone, though the Pomme Puree was very good. While my companion was pleased with the Risotto, it was not enough to save the meal.

Kitchen was having a rough night. Fries sat under the lamps for 18 mins... I saw them go up and started the timer. Yup, cold fries. For the price, I'd expect better. While not full or busy, long waits. Second time there, probably not going back.
