I know it's in a strip mall, but the food and people are great. The Falafel is super, eggplant some of the best I've had. The meats I'm told are very good as well.

Falafel balls were rubbery. Beet salad was bland. Outside tables were wobbly. No signs on the doors for the bathroom. Decent portions but they put it in these tiny plates from 1976.

An unassuming place with food that’s flavorful. We must’ve just gotten there *after* a rush because the poor staff seemed harried. That being said, more power to them because each bite I had from what I ordered had me going back for another mouthful.

Bonus points for the delicious non-alcoholic beverage they had on hand.

I’d definitely go again if I find myself in Ashland.

Great Mediterranean food with good drink choices. Highly recommend. Quality level has been quite high for the 4 years I have been going there.

I couldn't believe I hadn't left a review for this place before, despite visiting as often as I could since it opened. Sam really has gone out of his way to craft some of the most consistently delicious Mediterranean-inspired food; everything is just so fresh and full of flavor. Extremely grateful.

I enjoyed the falafel sandwich here HOWEVER I do want to note that it would be nice to give credit that falafel and hummus is Arab food. The salad was given credit that it is Israeli but not everything else on the menu. The whole restaurant represents Israel while the main thing it serves is ARAB, serving the food that is a result of hundreds of years of arabs cooking these recipes.
It is nice to see people cook these recipes from different nationalities, but claiming it as yours and not giving credit is not okay. As someone who is not familiar with all this information, they would simply think the food they ate is Israeli.
This is culture appropriation.
Side note: Hummus is literally the Arabic word for chickpeas. Wishing you the best and proper information.

I had a great experience ordering with one of the owners, Sam, today. The pita was placed in the oven the minute I ordered a falafel sandwich and he shared that the hummus is made in house! This operation is clearly a labor of love down to the details of peeling the garbanzo beans for the hummus by hand.

I highly recommend the falafel sandwich, and rose lemonade for a fun addition. I look forward to going back to try the newly added Chicken shawarma, too!

Feel like it should be better given the name, but was good enough

At present I won’t recommend the falafel in this restaurant. I have tried falafal pita bread and falafal on side twice. It is not fully well cooked inside the middle part of falafel. Felt like eating it raw. It would be the best if size is reduced to make it little thin and it can cook well, so it tastes good.
