Small, cozy, intimate.
And, a perfectly crafted menu.

A limited menu means you’re getting the greatest hits of Filipino cuisine made with incredible skill.

You really can’t miss with anything you order but in our opinion, you’ve got to get the lumpia (duh), and the beef mami. Additional shout out to the Kare-Kare for a light and lovely peanut sauce and the best pickled mushrooms we’ve ever had.

Friendly family owned and run restaurant, with simple elegance, fantastic food, in a great location with an outside patio. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Will plan to come back for sure.

Food is okay but price is borderline too expensive. $19 for a chicken adobo without rice? Feels like I don’t belong here.

The menu is also very small.

GOOD VIBES! MUST VISIT! Ordered the Kare Kare, Chicken Adobo and Lumpia. All Yummy.

Tasty, authentic, humble and approachable place to experience. Great ambiance with bold Filipino flavors and friendly service. Excellent execution and representation of Filipino food, refreshing to support and discover Filipino when done right with intention, Ashland is lucky to have Harana.

Overall the restaurant delivers on design, food and service. Bonus shout out to playlist selection; w/ the soulful Filipino melodies and hiphop bringing everything together. Will visit again! Thank you Family!

Fyi, Harana means to serenade in Tagalog. It all makes sense now.

Great spot for Filipino food! The adobo and BBQ pork were especially good and the Lumpia were delicious and crispy! Lovely owners and staff make you feel at home. 10/10 would go back.

Great food. So glad to find chicken adobo, and cooked until very tender. (Most restaurants with adobo cook pork in it.) Great prices and informal style. Could use better ventilation so we don't come away smelling like the frier.

we loved the adobo, the pancit, the calamansi, the halo halo, and the welcoming vibe. Such a beautiful and lively space, a real home away from home🤩

The food was really really good, Filipino food is amazing and these folks really pull it off. Moved to Ashland about two years ago and this is one of my top 5 restaurants here.

I was born and raised in the Philippines, so I know a thing or two about Filipino food. Both barbecued pork and the chicken adobo are spot on. Only trouble is, for what you get, you pay too much. The chicken adobo was $17-18, but you only get two chicken breasts. And that’s with the bone. Also, they serve American portions for the rice, and by that I mean very small portions. No self-respecting Filipino would accept the little cup of rice that they charge extra for. If you’re gonna charge extra for rice, make it a bowl. All that said, I’d probably go back because the food was really delicious. And I want to support my fellow Filipinos.

You walk into this cozy, unassuming cafe where you order standing up at the register and ten or so minutes later they bring you out like fine-dining-level Filipino cuisine - beautifully conceived and perfectly executed. The surprise is so delightful, the pairing of the unpretentious setting and modest prices with absolutely expert and refined cooking. And natty wines and good cocktails too. What's not to love?
