A solid choice. Look, I've had better Thai food in other towns, but this is the best I've found in Ashland. Reliable quality and taste. Fair prices. And they recently reopened the dining room, which is nice. While Pad Thai may be a cliche order, it also is a good barometer for the quality of the kitchen or cook. The worst offenders offer little more than peanut butter and carrots mixed with noodles. The best versions include many ingredients, like tiny shrimp, fish flakes, spices, herbs, egg, etc. that reflect the individual style of the chef. The pad Thai here lands somewhere between those two. And I'll order it again.

Open again after being closed during the pandemic (the last Tripadvisor review was back in 2020.) Previously I was not a big fan of House of Thai, but they seem to have improved after re-opening. We just had Tom Kha Gai and a mixed stir-fry vegetable plate. The soup was very good. The vegetables were done nicely to tender-crunchy but I thought the sauce was too heavy on the soy sauce. We will return and try some of the other dishes.

Not really traditional Thai taste. Don’t put too much hope on it. Waitress is pleasant but the food is not great.

House of Thai is my ultimate comfort food in Ashland! It's authentic, delicious, and always worth it! 10/10 recommend!! The orange tofu is my favorite! The best Thai food in the valley! :)

Best Thai cuisine in the valley. Everything here is fantastic. The Pumpkin Curry and Tom Kha Gai and my two faves.

My boyfriend and I got an airbnb directly next door to this cute palace! It was what we needed since we just arrived that night. We arrived later than expected and could not dine in because it was past 8pm - so we ordered to go! I enjoyed the classic pad thai! It was good. My guy ordered the chicken panang curry - it was super good but they barley put any curry sauce and chicken in our to-go order. It was mainly potatoes. Don't get me wrong, the flavor was there and so yummy, but it didn't have a good balance of portions! My review is based on classic thai dishes*

Ordered Eggplant Lunch Special; the portions are small. Price is a bit high for our area. The large pieces of eggplant were not cooked all the way through, which is always disappointing. The sauce was very good and the done pieces of eggplant were perfect. $5.50 for a Thai iced tea with coconut milk seems overpriced. Friendly service, which is always appreciated.

First time dining here for lunch; have wanted to try it forever, but we live an hour away, so not in Ashland often. Ordered eggplant, which was good, but maybe 1/3 of it was under cooked, which is always disappointing. The portions of Lunch specials are tiny. The eggrolls were undercooked, also, which makes them doughy and disappointing, especially because I love them but rarely eat them. I think it's overpriced for our area and the amount of food you get.

On a road trip up the 1-5, me and some friends stopped here, STARVING. We saw the sign on the freeway and decided that Thai food sounded good. We were not expecting anything special, but we definitely got a wonderful experience and meal. The outdoor ambience is beautiful with a beautiful fountain and serene garden. When we came inside, we were greeted promptly and with kindness. The person working told us that they were closing soon but could dine in if we were out by 1:30. Since the food came quick and was AMAZING, this was no struggle at all. I ordered a vegan red curry with 3 stars of spice, and I loved the creamy curry with the perfect amount of veggies. The lunch specials are delicious and wonderful serving sizes. We all finished the our plates in 10 minutes. If I ever drive back through the area, I will definitely stop again! I also want to mention that 2 of the 4 of us are vegan, and the server and chef were super understanding. There are lots of options for vegans and vegetarians! Thank you for such a great experience.

Beautiful garden matches the serene interior. We had panang curry, pad see ew, and pork potstickers- all delicious and huge portions. Looking forward to the leftovers and returning again. Lastly, the service was friendly, attentive, and on par with the food.

Paid $17 for green curry. This is the most watery curry I have ever had. I always get just vegetables at every Thai place I have ordered from which is many over the years and it has never made the curry watery. I called to address this and they blamed it on the vegetables. It was more of a broth than anything. Eggplant undercooked as well and tasted soapy. Couldn’t eat eggplant which is usually favorite part. Very Disappointed?

The customer service was so good! We ordered pick up and I forgot to tell them I wanted chicken not tofu. I got tofu, but it was so delicious I didn’t even care. Loved all three dishes we got! Can’t wait to order again.
