Highlights include the king salmon from New Zealand, the black snapper, and the darru and surf and turf rolls. The sea urchin roll is out-of-this-world, like a bite of delicious ocean. Starting with the wagyu sliders is a great contrast. The restaurant offers a wide variety of cooked seafood and vegetable dishes, making it a great option for those who cannot eat raw seafood.
The restaurant is off the street, which can make it a little difficult to find. It provides a wonderful atmosphere with tables right on Ashland Creek, a beautiful environment by the creek. The staff is always impressive and accommodating, though service can be a bit slow and struggled on some occasions, leading to longer wait times. It is a fantastic choice for a dining experience in downtown Ashland, ideal for double dates with good conversation.
