Always a pleasure to dine here at Kobe. Wonderful service, delicious food, and a beautiful environment.

the sushi was good, but did not blow me out of the water, so I felt it was slightly overpriced. I was impressed with their sake list and would return to try out some more sakes. We sat inside, and at first we were seated at a table awkwardly close to another table, I felt quite crammed and actually asked if there might be another option. We were sat at another table that was more comfortable, but instead of across from me, or even beside me, my husband had to sit at a right angle from me, right next to the door to the patio. I wish we had selected an outdoor table, perhaps that would have been more relaxing. We enjoyed the dinner, in the sense that I wanted to go to a sushi place without our kids for my birthday, and this was definitely that type of restaurant, with pretty good food and drinks. The service was very good.

Wonderful atmosphere with table right on Ashland Creek! Food was great. Service was a bit slow and our server graciously apologized, letting us know that they were training some new people. We were still happy!

The food was delicious and the portions were as expected. The service was a little slow, especially since there were only a few people there when we were in there.

It was good but should be for 80 bucks a person...I recommend the king salmon from new Zealand and the black snapper both were excellent...I didn't like the roll we ordered...yes portions are small but it's downtown Ashland.

Had dinner outside by the creek, which is lovely. Was immediately seated by a server, as a walk-in. These two aspects of the experience were great. Ordered the Yuzu margarita which came in a small glass of all ice, $15. I commented to server about all the ice in the margarita. She had no response. Ordered Miso Soup, for $6, you get 3 tiny tofu squares and a teaspoon of seaweed. Ordered the ponzu sashimi on special - 6 pieces of skin on snapper for $35. Do not recommend the skin on, it gives it a chewy texture that is not appealing. The lemon drop martini is delicious as well as the Darru roll. Food was very slow coming from kitchen.

We shared sushi for 5. All of our selections were fresh and flavorful. We will probably include Kobe in our yearly visit to Ashland.

The restaurant is off the street so it's a little difficult to find. The food and service were great, but we were informed there would be a one hour wait for sushi when we arrived. That really is unacceptable and the customer should be compensated with a free drink or appetizer

First to be seated but last to be served. Order took a long time compared to others that were seated after us.

Such a great location for our double date! We were able to have excellent conversation and hear one another, serving staff was very professional, accommodating, and great to work with. The food...oh my goodness...the food!!!! Sushi melted in your mouth, flavors were beautifully blended and exquisite. Definitely going back again!!

I didn’t expect to run into such a top notch sushi spot deep in southern Oregon. The fish was fresh and high quality. In the rolls, the chef had an ability to pair ingredients that emphasized texture, all the while working in excellent flavors. The darru and surf and turf rolls were a highlight. The sea urchin roll was out-of-this-world, like a bite of delicious ocean. Starting with the wagyu sliders was a great contrast to the cold sushi dishes. Fatty beef, seared, with salty seasoning and pickles. Excellent!

The service was struggling the night we went. They held us up at the bar 20 minutes past our reservation time. They only seated us because we gave up on waiting for an outdoor table. It then took 20 minutes to meet the server and order, and another 45 minutes to start eating. Ultimately the food exceeded the flaccid service. I will be back, but not on a night when I’m in a hurry.
