We are regulars and Kobe never fails to impress. Food is delicious. Staff is excellent and the ambiance is intimate. The consistency over many years is most impressive.
Food was outstanding! Unfortunately, the restaurant was short staffed this evening and it compromised the experience. Will absolutely return!!!!
I have been coming here for years and the food and service has always been exceptional. Do yourself a favor, you won't be disappointed
Lovely, authentic Japanese food in a quiet, serene atmosphere. Good service and great value.
By far the best sushi and we are so lucky it is near us. We travel a lot but stay here for sushi.
2 time this week. As we are from Spokane, hands down the best sushi we've eaten in years!!!!! We will be back
Always a pleasure to dine here at Kobe. Wonderful service, delicious food, and a beautiful environment.
the sushi was good, but did not blow me out of the water, so I felt it was slightly overpriced. I was impressed with their sake list and would return to try out some more sakes. We sat inside, and at first we were seated at a table awkwardly close to another table, I felt quite crammed and actually asked if there might be another option. We were sat at another table that was more comfortable, but instead of across from me, or even beside me, my husband had to sit at a right angle from me, right next to the door to the patio. I wish we had selected an outdoor table, perhaps that would have been more relaxing. We enjoyed the dinner, in the sense that I wanted to go to a sushi place without our kids for my birthday, and this was definitely that type of restaurant, with pretty good food and drinks. The service was very good.
Wonderful atmosphere with table right on Ashland Creek! Food was great. Service was a bit slow and our server graciously apologized, letting us know that they were training some new people. We were still happy!
The food was delicious and the portions were as expected. The service was a little slow, especially since there were only a few people there when we were in there.
Restaurantji Recommends
It was good but should be for 80 bucks a person...I recommend the king salmon from new Zealand and the black snapper both were excellent...I didn't like the roll we ordered...yes portions are small but it's downtown Ashland.

Great service. Attentive and knowledge staff. Sushi recommend was fantastic, prawn appetizer didn't disappoint.
Always an awesome experience with the most attentive staff providing the best food and drink! I love Kobe!!!
Had dinner outside by the creek, which is lovely. Was immediately seated by a server, as a walk-in. These two aspects of the experience were great. Ordered the Yuzu margarita which came in a small glass of all ice, $15. I commented to server about all the ice in the margarita. She had no response. Ordered Miso Soup, for $6, you get 3 tiny tofu squares and a teaspoon of seaweed. Ordered the ponzu sashimi on special - 6 pieces of skin on snapper for $35. Do not recommend the skin on, it gives it a chewy texture that is not appealing. The lemon drop martini is delicious as well as the Darru roll. Food was very slow coming from kitchen.

We shared sushi for 5. All of our selections were fresh and flavorful. We will probably include Kobe in our yearly visit to Ashland.
