KOBE could be under new management? Their menu has somewhat changed. The Zen Roll and the Mushroom Salad are no-more. Instead they offer a $16 salad, and you can add mushrooms for an additional $5. The salad is much smaller now. They also eliminated the vegetarian Zen Roll, which is a total bummer. Don't be deceived and get the other mushroom roll, it's terrible. There are two small beef sliders now instead of three. Sadly, Shrink-flation has struck KOBE. I will not return.

Kobe in Ashland, Oregon, exceeded expectations. The Kobe Drop cocktail and Floral Old Fashioned were delightful highlights. The sushi experience was equally impressive, with the Dynamite and Yakuza rolls, along with the Duck Spring Rolls, showcasing the diverse and flavorful offerings. A definite recommendation for both cocktail enthusiasts and sushi lovers. Excellent table service and calm, quiet ambiance on the creek.

Not sure what is happening here... but it is chaos... couldn't find our reservation, service is terrible and food not much better. Waitress made so many mistakes. No apology. In fact tried to imply it was our fault. Brought essentially all $300 worth of our food at the same time. Very bland sushi... this place used to be good but it is a shell of its former self. overpriced for what you get - essentially fast food sushi with subpar service. Also they insisted we had to sit outside under heaters despite us watching the entire time we were there open tables inside... made no sense.

Kobe is the only sushi place that i really like around here (especially since little tokyo shut down). I'm not sure why people say it's expensive when it's the cheapest option for the best quality. $15/per roll is pretty standard and other places (that are lower quality) are pushing $20+/ per roll. The food is consistent and the portions for salad and tempura are large so it's nice to share. The drinks are ok and the staff is hit or miss but overall kind. I think the ambience is inviting and it feels upscale without breaking the bank. It's always worth it for me and it's a great spot for a night out that feels special.

I LOVE this restaurant, always fresh and uncompromising on quality! Local woman-owned business downtown Ashland that hits the spot! Nice porch/patio outdoor seating along with indoor comfortable booths and a nice bar if you are like me and enjoy high seats and shiny reflections ;) Perfect for date night or family. 5 stars!
