I have to say I was a bit disappointed coming into Louie’s after hearing such good things about it and having it recommended. We walked in and had high hopes - the atmosphere and service was great! We also got fed very quickly! However, the point of disappointment came when our food came. My mom got the soup of the day, which was mushroom, and once she received it was gelatinous and had a thick skin on top. Her salad was good though! But I was also disappointed with my burger. I came in craving a juicy thick burger and got the opposite. I was shocked by how thin the burger patty was because I have literally gotten a thicker burger as a school lunch (for free!). It was extremely underwhelming, especially considering how it was a little more expensive.I hate giving bad reviews, but the main purpose is in hopes that it will grab the attention of the manager/owner. Overpriced for undervalue. I know many people love this place but it was not for us.

I went to Louie's with my daughter while we were visiting Oregon. It's a nice pub/restaurant in the downtown area of Ashland. The staff was great, very friendly and attentive. We were both pleasantly surprised with how good the food was, everything we ordered was excellent and we liked it so much we went back the next day! We plan to visit the area again in the warmer weather and we will definitely make sure to stop in again when we do.

Had the fish and chips. Substituted the parmesean truffle fries for regular fries. Fish was cooked to perfection and the truffle fries were outstanding. Had a heffeweisen with my meal and it too was delicious! My server was very fast and courteous and my food came out super quick. Always a great place to eat when I'm in Ashland!Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options on their menu.

So sad, we walked in and were told it was game night so we would need to leave in an hour.We got our meal before our drinks ...always a giant red flag. The fish (fish & chips) was not hot and fairly mushy inside. Definitely not going back

Great asset to Ashland with affordable prices and a strong commitment to the locals.Updated review: Ordered delivery the other day and one of the meals was incorrect. Called to explain and the manager agreed to make the correct dish and deliver it himself. Tough to beat that kind of service. ?Another update: Sat outside by the creek. A bit of a wait, but always worth it.10/8/22: Great meal on the creek and wonderful compassion shown by Manager to a homeless person. Love this place.

An incredible menu! Best lemonade I've ever had. We ate outside because our dog, Bodhi, was with us and it couldn't have been more perfect. The service was INCREDIBLE. The manager, Mark, made all of us (there were quite a few tables of people - several celebrations) feel welcome and cared for. AND, as though great service and great food for a great price wasn't enough, they brought a dog menu and Bodhi had ground beef for $3. A fun, fabulous place for couples, families, dogs or by yourself.
