The food was great and our server was working so hard, but the restaurant was woefully understaffed. Tables were left un bussed, every table was full of customers, we were brought the wrong food by the kitchen staff, there was no bartender. There was a HELP WANTED sign in the window. If you own a restaurant, and you aren’t staffed sufficiently, you should be down there helping your employees and taking care of your customers.

We live in separate households, so therefore ate different foods before eating here (2025) for a special occasion. The thing in common is both of us had intestinal issues after the meal and into the next day after our dinner. We now question if the food is properly handled and sanitary for consumption. Unfortunately, we aren’t inspired to go back. We gave the restaurant a heads up as constructive feedback, yet no response left us wondering about customer care.

What can I say, i’m actually here leaving a review. Every now and then you go to a restaurant that leaves you smiling and Masala is just such a place. Me and the misses ended up here on a late valentines date and cannot give enough praise. Excellent flavors and presentation, with great portions to top it off. Our sever was very chill and funny, just warm and inviting atmosphere overall. Highly recommended.

Fish and chips were greasy with no flavor. Total Bummer. Also ordered the aloo mutter gobi. Potatoes and cauliflower were undercooked and not chopped small enough. I know prep cooks can be lazy, but jeez……Shouldn’t have to chop them again at home, which was difficult as they were on the raw side. Basically way over paid for a small portion of under cooked soup. Pretty disappointing, as other items on their menu are good. Just not what we got tonight :( I’ll spend 50 bucks for two entrees somewhere else next time. Also, offer a choice on your salad dressings, as that chili sauce y’all give out with the zen is simply not appropriate. Unless you wanna call it the fire in your mouth salad.

Love this place, I normally get them for take out and the food is always great! This time we stopped in to eat and I loved it even more! Best Indian food in Southern Oregon! Quality over quantity! We will be back

I recently dined at this exceptional Indian restaurant that truly showcases the best Indian cuisine. From the moment we stepped in, the warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The menu featured an impressive assortment of dishes that were nothing short of out of this world. Each dish was a testament to authentic Indian flavors, with rich spices and vibrant ingredients that left a lasting impression. The dessert was a perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable dining experience. The chia … just perfect!! Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or a newcomer, this restaurant is a must-visit for its delicious food and excellent service.

We celebrated a birthday with an excellent meal that accommodated both vegetarian and meat eaters. The food and service were great. I would go there again and highly recommend it.

Recommended by an acquaintance, and this exceeded all expectations! We did the thali small plates as takeaway, and especially loved the shrimp malai curry. The cauliflower Manchurian was a hit as well.

I tried the Cauliflower Manchurian and was blown away! I've had a lot of cauliflower "wings" and these were far superior to any other that I've tried before. Also got French fries and a garlic naan. Fries were fine but not special. Naan was quite tasty.
