Nama and Mas are shining stars for Ashland, Oregon. We feel lucky to have these restaurants in our town. Never disappointed. Highly recommend!

Nama is an excellent raw bar that offers the freshest ingredients as they are available. We have been several times. We love to check out what is beautiful and fresh in the glass case at the bar. They have an extensive selection of sakes, as well as a small, curated selection of local and international wines. They also have a full selection of liquor. When we dine at MÄS, we always save a little room for an after-dinner drink at Nama with the fun, friendly and lively staff.

This lived up to our every expectation! The oysters and mignonette were delicious. Everything tasted fresh, delicate, and packed a lot of flavor. We went in August and aside from the oysters, the other standout for me was a black cod dish that was messier to eat than makes me comfortable in a fancy setting, but so worth it.

Intimate venue with thoughtfully presented food. Ideal for smaller parties (2 - 3ppl). Not for the famished. Bar was well-curated; service attentive & friendly. Recommended for a unique experience.

The Blue Pool oysters were both superb and flawlessly shucked. The chef's sampler was equally fantastic. I'll definitely be making another reservation. Highly recommended.

Exceptional in every sense of the word. Artistic presentation, complicated pallets that are masterfully blended, phenomenal service...What an evening.

Ambiance, presentation, and the quality of their oysters in beyond compare and the only thing that prevents this from being a 5 star is that the lead chef is rather somber and not very personable which given the open bar style of this restaurant and immediate proximity to all the staff, makes for an awkward experience. We're locals and have been here about 6-7 times and can attest this isn't an isolated experience. Given the price point everything should be exceptional, but alas.

Was very excited to dine here after having such an exceptional experience at MAS this past winter. The wife and I came in for our third wedding anniversary and it couldn’t have been a more perfect dining experience. The food leaves you longing for more after every bite, the drinks and especially for me the sake we’re far superior to anywhere else locally, and the atmosphere is of that what you would expect from a restaurant in the Bay Area or New York City. Can’t wait to come back more often! We’ll done Chefs and Team!

Wonderful oye ayer and raw bar snuck away off a little non- description alley. Impeccably prepared nibbles of a very high caliber. Pricey for a small town but absolutely worth it. Nothing at all small town about the food or service. Elevated experience to be sure. No tables- only a bar. Great!

THE place to for sushi in the area. Warms my heart when I drive by and see seats filled. Let's keep this impeccable establishment in business, Yelp community!Food is exquisite and forward-looking but approachable... will convert anyone who thinks they don't like seafood.

I stumbled on Nama during a long road trip and I couldn’t have been more pleased. The quality, freshness and presentation of the seafood was stellar and I left feeling satiated and content. Making a point of visiting again on my next trip through.

Practically a cliche of a high end restaurant. Extremely limited menu , more so than what we read on line in advance. Very small plates Four thin slices of sashimi was a plate. Hand-rolls the size of my thumb. Food was good but hardly spectacular. Sushi chef quite self impressed. I’ll not be
