Great place for quality drinks!

They allow people to vape inside and smoke in the doorway both of which is against Oregons smoke-free law because it is harmful to otgers. they allow a guy on a large scooter to sit outside of the door completely blocking it It's dark old world dreary atmosphere. They have went through 3 owners in about 6 months. Menu keeps changing and now ALL by QR code so if you don't have a working phone you can't view it. They discriminate and refuse service based on rumors about something that happened elsewhere. Not very good business practices at all
Their attitude is qe can violate laws but if we here a rumor about you you're not allowed. I updated this a second time because they got worse much much much worse. I used to like a little of their menu but the last time I went to get something I walked out to get pizza that I did not want at Mertolies across plaza from them. .much better service faster friendlier and more open and brighter atmosphere

Parking: Plenty of parking but all taken during peak hours. However don’t worry just drive to the back and park in the 4 hour Lithia park parking except if there is a parade or something that big then park on B street and walk.

If you have an open heart and mind, sit at the bar at Oberon's for 5 minutes and you will experience THE MOST magical human interactions. This is my go-to place when visiting Ashland. It is without a doubt the BEST place to find people who are kind, compassionate and open to jazzing about the intricasies of humanity. (Please never close! ??) Special shout-out to Jauci (not sure of the spelling but SURE of the human connection) as well as Mark! By far the best bartenders I've experienced in my many travels. I thank you both and I thank Oberon's for remaining an Ashland staple and NECESSITY. ?? The food was amazing and the drinks were delectable! If you're in to Old Fashions...PLEASE come here! ?

A great Middle Earth gathering spot for artists slowly morphing in a sports bar. So sad. Only bar food.

If you go in expecting a dive bar look and feel, then you’ll be good. If you go in expecting a classier bar, you’ll be disappointed.
That being said - it’s for sure a dive bar. The bathrooms are covered in graffiti. The cleanliness felt like a 2.5-3 out of 5. The menu pages are all falling out of the menu bindings and were sticky. It felt odd seeing that they had a page of “The Best Damn” drinks that hovered in the $65+ range… because I wouldn’t pay that much for a beverage there.
I will say that Dalton made an excellent regular margarita and old fashioned. Dalton was also very friendly.
So for a dive bar, this was definitely a decent spot and within walking distance to other Ashland attractions.

Oberon's Gin &Tonic is really good
What a gem! We were looking for a place to have a nice dinner and a drink and Oberon's was the perfect spot. The staff were friendly and helpful, the drinks strong (signature G&T for me and Moscow Mule for my husband), and the food beautifully presented and delicious! We were lucky enough to get a table outside overlooking the darling riverwalk, and it was the perfect way to end our Ashland adventure. Note: They also had darling gender neutral restrooms!

Just a amazing place, the new owners are fantastic. I just got done on the coast and was visiting my Aunt in Ashland. Had the best experience there yet.

I would give zero stars if possible… the new owner is a creep that harasses patrons and stocks their social media when they disagree with feed back, constructive criticism, or critiques… this establishment feels unsafe. Do not recommend visiting.

I honestly feel so bad for the new owners. Handed a really bad situation and is trying their best to turn it around. I think you may want to reconsider who you’ve staffed to replace the originals. Couldn’t have had a more informal unprofessional experience with the new “head” bartender. Im not the owners, but you probably want to think twice about making a guy who tells potential future co-workers that he’s recently sober from alcohol and working in a bar isn’t the best for his addiction during an interview with someone… not to mention have the the prospect sit in the corner for over an hour and a half while he talks to his coworkers and occasionally says something to you from afar or while walking away. Of course this is after they drove 45 minutes one way to offer assistance. Owner is incredibly nice, down to earth and has a great heart for saving this place and the bar itself is very clean and unique to the eye; but substituting one wrong with another will not be bringing this place out of its shell anytime soon
Edit: After reading the lack of accountability on the reply, I’m switching my two stars to one. A personal review about a particular person? Ever heard of one bad apple spoils the bunch? You can’t preach change to the public and hire people like this to represent YOU and YOUR business. YOU tell the public about the past experiences the bar has encountered with drugs and then YOU hire a very recent recovering alcoholic who tells people during interviews about it… I don’t see change happening
The bartenders were amazing, Brandy(sp?) was an amazing bartender, the first bartender who made my drink was also such a cool dude tho I did not get his name. Thank you both for all you did to make our visit amazing ?? Food was also high quality and drinks *chefs kiss
